Am looking forward to Sunday, the Sevs have never won at Celtic Park on this incarnation & Morelos has never scored against us, this might change one day and if it’s Sunday Neil Lennon will still have my 100% backing, I think they had their chance at Hampden and weren’t good enough to take it … in my opinion Neil’s team won’t be that open again … Elyounoussi not fit (a risk Neil took) and Edouard not fit to start … we will be a far different proposition on Sunday …. we are going to hammer somebody in the Spl… it could be THEM :-)

Neil is now showing a certain stubbornness in team selection. He is getting away with it against most teams in terms of results, which is great, but on occasion, fortuitous.
Our overall performance can drop to alarming levels, sometimes leaving you ‘scratching your head’
Taylor, or Hayes for Boli, any day of the week. Forrest on the right is s no-brainer. Christie in the No10 position is a no-brainer. Johnson starting on the left is a no-brainer.
Boli is something, fast, good feet – but never a left-back in a hundred years.
Ntcham is technically gifted, but a million miles away from what Christie gives us in that position.
The team is not suddenly bad – it is unbalanced and stuttering. There is time to fix it before we are made to pay.

Lenny has succeeded in the face of the most vicious provocation. His loyalty is unquestioned and unquestionable.
I get the impression that he now has to succeed against a significantly greater challenge than Brendan faced.
I came on here to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas. I’m feeling slightly mystified at the negativity So far. The main task today was to secure the precious three points that were at stake. How we did it wasn’t so important. Mission accomplished. They are a stuffy team, physically big and give many teams problems. You have to remember this was our 8th game in December. Of those 6 were league games and we have amassed 18 points, won the a League Cup and lost one dead rubber match. A remarkable feat. One of the reasons Goldson and Helander enjoyed so much aerial success in our box was because Odsonne was not playing. He is a tremendous asset to us at set pieces and corner kicks for our opponents. Can I also remind you that we started the game with 10 men. Lewis Morgan was played hopelessly out of position giving us no out ball. We then lost Frimpong for a lengthy period. We played a hopelessly unfit Elyounoussi. In short, team selection, tactics and luck with injuries were catastrophic for us.
It will be different on Sunday. We have fit players for every position, our fans will lift the team and we should let the opposition do the worrying.
david17 on
These are strange times. 11 League wins in a row, 17 wins from 19 and yet today there was much moaning amongst what was at times a muted support. Online forums, blogs, Twitter etc are congested with complaints, concerns and worries.
My theory is that this is because we are being challenged in a manner that just a short time ago seemed implausible. Deep down we are all feeling the pressure and know what is at stake this season. Not achieving out objectives is unthinkable but unfortunately it is possible.
It seems like everyone is trying put out fires before they ignite. Statistically we are in the midst of one of our best ever campaigns. But we are not pulling clear. Today we reached the halfway point of the League campaign. The remaining 19 matches, starting on Sunday, will not be for the faint hearted.
“Snide & childish”?, yes, when you choose not to engage in debate, but instead make a personal attack & take up a faux ‘high-ground’ position.
Does criticising something_someone you cherish on occasions mean you love less, of course not? One often constructively criticises one’s own family simply because one loves and want the best from them.
I won’t address your comments about business, they are nonsensical.
