Tough task of that second half. Think Bug Jullien will have to sober up by Sunday.

Our 3rd goal was clearly onside from French Eddy, Red card, Red card cheating Hun with the flag couldn’t get his flag up quickly enough!
Anyway onwards and upwards

wtf is Lennon doing with this team – Ryan christie has been off the boil for weeks and needs a rest – instead he’s played out of position. It was his slack pass that put Julien in trouble. Lennon also took off Eddie 5mins to go – why was he still on – very poor team management today. we had players on the bench that could have brought more energy to this game , got minutes into their legs and gave 1st team players a rest.
happy with 3 points but Lennon gambled and the team looks as depressed as he does
An Dun on
Today was about 3 points and bar a deflection in the last minute, the entire match was comfortable. Onwards to Sunday, a big performance will go along way to securing the 9.

Outplayed and out-fought for the whole second-half. St Mirren deserved a draw. Unbelievable that just honest endeavour by St Mirren made us look just like the team who lost to Livi. The big ventre-forward who no one knows ran riot. Piss piss poor second half from our players – the goal was always coming, relieved it didn’t come sooner. Shocking!!!!!.

Not much joy on here today.

why Are we not putting these games to bed?
Why is Christie playing out of position?
Are we becoming a bit slow and predictable again?
Difficult to make too much of it but in our last 3 games our goal difference should have taken a huge boost and in fact it has been cut.
We just ain’t firing 100% and I wonder if a few are just a bit too comfortable

We know that we are a lot better than we have shown in recent games, the problem is it becomes hard to lift out of a groove. Sound silly typing this when we are unbeaten in ten domestic games but we can all see that the tempo has dropped and there is something about the shape which is blunting the attack and leaving the defence exposed on occasion.
Happy with three points – bit concerned about the 29th – we can’t afford another LCF performance.

can anyone explain what jullien and boli boli bring to the team , as I’m at a loss to put a finger on it

A nervy , flat and leggy second half but the 3 points is all that matters . Jullien seems to let these physical CF’s affect his concentration and it could have cost us. Agree about Christie , played out of position deprives us of one of our strengths. As for giving Griff 5 minutes at the end of a game , I don’t really get it.
Hope we can back nearer to our best for Sunday’s huge game.

our problem with the teams shape is playing ON and SB in the same starting 11 and playing RC right wing and JF left wing , we have lost our high pressing , high tempo and quick movement lately .
