Pretty Similar to the Ross County game. We are on constant attack but don’t test the keeper enough.
But we haven’t got our defence sorted yet especially with corners and crosses.

My wife sat down for the last five minutes and very innocently asked if Celtic where wasting time till the half time whistle- I tried to explain about sideways and backwards but realised that is what must look like to an observer

Thought we did ok first half after a bad start. Away from home, St.Mirren with 10 men behind the ball is always tough. I think Neil will take Taylor off and put a more attacking player down left.
JF (Old) — good goal / great finish.
Just a case that with him in the team as the width on the right means that little happens on that side.
Also the MF is struggling to make anything happen through the middle — KA coming out from the back is having more success as he wants to work through the middle rather than just shuffling the ball to the LW so that GT can practice his crossing or out to the right where JF (Old) struggles to keep the ball in play.

Hopefully we can move up a gear and play some good football.

make no mistake Bhoys – that was god awful football from us. Where do we start?
Team selection – Tinkering from NL. He said the new formation will improve with games together , then breaks them up – wtf!! (Julian is on the bench so must be fit)
Taylor – I’m sick fed up with his check back, roll over the ball and pass back to mcgregor. He refuses to work the defender when there is plenty space to do so.
Midfield getting in each others way – we play a 5 man midfield yet allow ayer to burst into that space. Who is dictating play broony or mcgregor?
Forrest – Great header but again he is not a natural or confident winger – only once did he take it to the line and managed a good cross. He and Ajer are flooding and already congested middle of park by coming inside.
Eduard – if he was a new striker we would be slating him – his first touch is awful and he is greedy and not playing link up. He is getting a game by reputation only.
Finally – El Hamed – I thought he was a player but tonight he is way off. Maybe not comfy in a back 3
I’m concerned about our lack of creativity and ability to make the ball stick when teams pack defenses. I’d try Ajeti and Turnbull. Soro for brown since he’s on a yellow and looks leggy. Frimpong for forrest.
We just don’t look like a good football team!!
