I hope all the ‘anti Greg Taylor’ whingers can see the impact the guy has on our ability to play through a high press.
It has never been more obvious than today where we have failed for most of the 80 mins. Taylor is often a competent outball and if not a great decoy creating space.

Yang is typical of the lack of football brain we seem be signing – great skill to open things up and then makes terrible decision when teammate in acres of space and an easy pass is on…….

That was much better. Still too many back passes, but at least McGregor offered an outlet, and to good effect. Second half we faced a pretty aggressive pressing game, but handled it well. Hart is having a purple patch – long may it continue.
