It does…… It was very obvious….don’t also understand why Watt and mcGeoch weren’t on from the start…..we have too many injuries to key players…..anyway, hopefully St Mirren play with that commitment again the sevco ‘capitulators’ next week…….that referee was useless, for both teams today….

Agree with everything said about Madden. However do not let us lose sight of the fact that our midfield lacks inspiration. We have no one to make telling passes.
What were we doing lobbing balls forward all through the game. Has it also become part of the master plan that our goalkeeper must deliver massive kicks up the park to be returned immediately by the opposition?
We have good players, but it appears there is something wrong on the coaching side.
Kayal33 on
Hooper should be dropped for next game, he’s put the tools away and is now waiting on his move in the summer. Play Stokes and/or Watt as the main striker until the end of the season. Hooper on bench if required.

We know it was not a penalty but if he had played on and stopped feigning injury the ref would not have had the chance to award .
Watch the replay once he realises (to late)the ref is not giving the foul he Gets up but is to late to get back in the play.
McGeough tried hard but what did Stokes do to deserve your praise?

Referee’s decisions were poor – in line with Lennon’s team selection AGAIN.
Utter dross to watch, kid on effort, poor passing, pathetic crossing..yet he sits & watches…thunder you say…blunder more like.
Could drop 6/7 of them easily with no loss to the side.

Dreadful Referee, Lenny was spot on, if Carlsberg did incompetent Refs then Madden has a job with a Brewery. We were poor ourselves not quite as bad as some are making out but poor just the same. Its been a very strange Season the good, the bad and the ugly. Well we had the ugly today lets hope for better next week.

long term we have had a problem with players losing form and not finding it again, this takes time and a more experienced management team. this is our real problem at management level. See izzy, kayal now hooper and ff, no form. also as someone has mentioned stop playing pals, again a more experienced management puts the team first not their pals. just saying.

I’m puzzled by calls for a creative midfielder. In Commons, we have one, surely? Or are we saying we need two? I thought the received wisdom on CQN was that we needed ‘battlers’ to win the war before strutting our stuff, or does this mark a collective shift in opinion? (Fine by me)

We shouldn’t have to overcome cheating…. But have had to for many decades
Celtic have been toothless in midfield for months, no bite, no snappy passing, no incisive passing, we have no one who can put his foot on the ball and take control of the midfield, Ledley to Izzy to Ledley to Wilson to Matthews back to Wilson out to Ledley to Izzy ad infinitum..
Very surprised at our substitutions today when the game was crying out for a man to put his foot on the ball and create something for the forwards we bring on a striker??
The longer this goes on the more painful it is to watch and the referee’s performance, combined with the LNS decision shows me exactly why people are not turning up and why I myself am losing interest in the game I love..
When I saw the team today I thought it looked like a decent selection but our crisp passing game seems to have all but disappeared and we have become so predictable and dare I say it boring!!
Im as pissed off as you. But if it was pure bias he wouldve given the goal and the penalty in the first half.

The only positive about today is, it provides a wake-up call on the standard of officiating we can expect in the semi-final.
Referee’s assistant had a hard time trying to keep the smile off his face when they were leaving the pitch – maybe he’s been promised first shot of the goat.
I’ll be stunned if Madden is not in charge of our game with Dundee United. As others have stated – that was the worst ‘refereeing’ display since the Sinister Minister’s man-of-the-match performance for the Huns (1873-2012) against Dundee United.
Six points and we retain the league. Day’s like today make it all the sweeter.
He gave the penalty against us at Celtic Park v Dundee Utd , he shouldn’t have been near another top level game this season never mind one of our games.
Why was he given today’s game , I think we all know the answers to that question.

Well said Lenny ; worst ref performance he has seen ( this season )
Madden the Cheat exposed.
‘most appalling refereeing display of the season’
got that right Neil.
“The most appalling refereeing performance i have seen in a long time. I am not happy with the standard of refereeing in this country”.
Superb Lenny. Well said.

Calls out the St Mirren pen in the first half as a stonewaller…clever
What did he say???

Just to clarify. Is ‘awful’ better than ‘dreadful’?
As in – ‘We had a dreadful evening, but fortunately an awful night’s sleep.’
Lenny simply stating facts. The ref was rank rotten should be sent back to the juniors ASAP.
He also said we need to improve and that he’s got a week to get us ready for Hibs. Will be appealing the red card.
