There is an unusually sombre tempo head of tomorrow’s Champions League last 16 tie, a consequences of the 0-3 reversal at home three weeks ago and the general sentiment around Scottish football this week, but this match is an excellent test for both manager and playing squad.
We are a Champions League team again with aspirations to achieve at this level next season. Having finally overcome the hoodoo of never having won away from home in the competition, we must use occasions like tomorrow to continue our growth in the competition.
We defended our 18-yard line in the Camp Nou and almost got away with a point. The plan was wrong in Lisbon, where a talented Benfica controlled midfield and recorded a narrow win, but the win against Spartak in Moscow was deserved.
Celtic might not be able to qualify for the quarter finals but they can win the match tomorrow; this is an achievable objective which would sweeten the inevitable medicine.

Ah, a brave yet libelous little filthy underclass Hun.
You be careful now, lest you wet yer tracky bottoms with excitement coming on here and swearing at the Tims.
Misguided Zombie Fanny.
Do we really need to put up with this constant crap from Joko and his goose-stepping monkey

favurite uncle –
What gives you the right to ask anyone to prove their Celtic credentials by naming their school? I temember bigoted arseholes asking me that very question at job interviews. What an arrogant fool you really are.
Plane is eventually about to take off, see all you lovely guys in Milan xxxx

KK,
If you dislike what Kojo posts & can’t reply to him, why draw attention to him by making empty comments?
Kojo,

A Celtic scarf is not a badge of immunity for a…..les.
________________________________________________
When I was a young fella making my way oot to see the Cellic
my old-man counseled me by, pointing out to me that
the minute that you put on a green n white scarf in this country
you instantly become a target for the hun slashers n stabbers.
So a young KJ tied my walk-on scarf roon my waist wi my jaikit
covering it till I was away in the clear.
I used to argue wi my old-man that – I should be proud to wear the
Cellic colors. He said i was right to be proud of being a Cellic fan
as he said – “You don’t have to be a bigot to support the Cellic!”
Ma Da continued – “It’s the other lot that you have to be wary of. They
would beat you and, leave you for dead…knowing full well that, the ludge
would get them cleared of any wrong doing !”
I used to think that my Da was exaggerating this stuff until I went to my
1st game v’s yon died team in the early to mid 1970’s. It was at ibrokes
and I remember we were winning and – twice the huns fans tried to get on
to the pitch to get the game abandoned. It was scary stuff for a 9 year old.
I’m going to lob a grenade in here before I go…
…I think that the decision of LNS is the beginning of the end for the fitba in this country.
I propose something radical. I’ve been waitin for a while now for the – nuclear stuff
to be dropped on the huns….I would like to see Celtic FC / PLC lancing the boil that is Scottish fitba. I think that Celtic should submit their RESIGNATION from football as, well you just need to look at tonight with the cops – paddy-wagon stuff on the plane tonight !!!
Celtic should resign from football effective from the end of the season currently being played as, the draconian lasws that are being forced upon the Celtic supporters could,
in all probability end in blood-shed and as a Club we don’t want – blood on our hands.
Then you would see the REAL nuclear stuff falling on the establishment. imo
Time to call the bluffs…..
HH
Off oot
I have seen as I thought posting here before, never thought he was a hun, or anything like that, but he sure never done himself any favours by posting that tonight.
We have a hard enough time without dobbing ourselfs in.

======================================
New posters and Hunposters throwing out loose allegations from unquantifiable scenarios which condemn members of our support without clarification or proof.
Oh, sorry, of course quoting a seat number and claiming you went to a posh Edinburgh boys’ school is the classic Blackadder prosecution; ‘the hair proves it’.
Zombie Fanny.
KK,
Apologies – I posted before you DID reply to Kojo.
Like it or not, tho’, he’s a Celtic supporter – isn’t the club supposed to be inclusive?
Estadio @ 18.18 – a good point well made – fully understood and agreed.
…another ‘busted flush’……………found out.
favourite uncle –
Whether or not the reports are true is entirely irrelevent to my point, which was, what business is it of yours what school anyone went to, and how does that prove his Celtic credentials?
Take your time.

There’s plenty of bona fide Celtic fans who would be black affronted by the antics of some of the more exuberant among us.
It was ever thus.
How cool is this…. My eldest lad just called. He had a collection at his school today for Wee Oscar and they raised £214.25 – it’s going on my justgiving site for the bike ride to Belfast.
Proud as punch.
oh for the days when i enjoyed reading CQN

The Celtic social mission statement contains the aim …
“To maximise all opportunities to disassociate the Club from sectarianism and bigotry of any kind.”
Kilbowie Kelt is right. There is no place for the sectarian bigot Kojo in relation to Celtic.

Aye, some are even offended by Irish ballads >]

AUSSIE TOM.was it you that had the runin with KITALBA.now if you need to know why i asked him “WHAT SCHOOL “who was in his class and who taught him then why not wait till THE LEGEND THAT IS KITALBA starts posting again and ask him to explain.as i said see you the morra.

Ernie – why would you ask?
Evening all
Reading the blog tonight sorry to read As I Thought’s post. I’ve been pretty much poured on a plane following the Bhoys to Berne so I won’t be casting any stones.
I should add in the mood of witch-hunting that nobody ever asked me what school I went to when I first logged on to this site two years ago. Still speak to plenty of folk who went to it and can probably tell you who taught me every subject in the years I went. The number of happy memories of the place I could count
Ernie Lynch – sorry. Just read back – got it.
