TEAM HAGUE v TEAM BEATTY – THE SEASON FINALE

0

Saturday 30th May promises to be a fantastic day for Celtic Supporters everywhere as we hope to win the Cup Final and the Treble, assuming we take care of Inverness this weekend and there is no collapse in the league.

Then Sunday 31st May promises to be the perfect conclusion to a Treble winning first season for Ronny Deila!

Thanks to a little idea from Celtic supporters Tony Curran, Babs McMahon, Liam Fagan, Paul McGarrity, Bryan Morrison and Martin O’Neill (not THAT Martin O’Neill) the Team Beatty v’s Team Hague idea was born.

Tony and his wife Mandy sadly lost 2 babies, Kyle and Kieran to stillbirth and Tony really wanted to do something to give back to SIMBA which as you know is fronted by Kris Commons and his partner Lisa Hague who sadly went through the same thing when they lost their baby girl Lola in the same way.ovu82E1D-zcHigDQ-SS3mnaq6uaWQyz5X55N_ln4rKU

Babs contacted Lisa Hague who happily agreed to manage Team Hague and it only seemed right that the other manager would be Wee Jay Winner of the SPFL Goal of the Month.
There was an original venue selected but due to the Daily Record running an article on the event the interest in the game exploded. Hamilton Accies were amazing in their support of Jay back in January and seemed to them to be the likely port of call to ask if they could avail of their stadium at New Douglas Park.
The CEO Colin McGowan gave it his full blessing and thanks to the help from William Watson and the staff at Hamilton they are pleased to announce that on Sunday 31st May  at 2.45pm one of the biggest games of 2015 will take place.
All monies raised will go to the Lola Commons Fund, Hamilton Community Trust and Down’s & Proud. It will be a Family Fun day and tickets will be on sale soon and we hope to keep you posted on this great event. In Memory of Lola, Kyle, Kieran & all those born sleeping.
And if there is a penalty awarded it will be as good as a goal. Jay does not miss!
