I remember her request and thought that it was sad that she’d lost her Dad at such a young age and couldn’t remember what his voice sounded like. I scroll by, unfortunately the majority of posts now when I (much less frequently) read the blog now.
It seems pleasantries are saved for those with similar beliefs.
You came across as a patronising; a tone not afforded to others. You have done it before when i tried to crack jokes and really dragged the fun out of it.

Without player sales Celtic would make a loss each season. Season ticket revenue does not even cover salaries. Without some money in the bank we are a ‘hostage to fortune’, e.g. Covid & legal eventualities.
Marketing & commercial sponsorships allow us to live in this crazy football world.
Cutting one’s nose to spite one’s face is nonsensical – if c£6m is on offer in Oz, why would we turn it down? Would the GB make up the shortfall?
*Rangers exist, and together with Celtic, is integral to the relevance of Scottish football. That maybe hard for some to swallow, but nonetheless is a fact.
