Absolutely delighted at the arrival of Dutch under-21 international central defender, Virgil van Dijk, on a four year deal. A central defender was one of three priorities for this summer and we have secured our first choice target.
The signing will also give a boost to the squad, and a timely reminder to all that amidst talk of player potentially leaving ‘at the right price’, the Celtic Story is one of progress.

Can you clarify Q5 ‘ please …… Are you saying that the major shareholders should be charged with recompensing minor shareholders (like you and I) ………if so, the Board would argue that major investors have lost proportionately more due to the corruption ?………and proving there was corruption would need to involve the Police / Lawyers / Courts…?
There is evidence, but I was under the impression BDO, and the Police were investigating…?

Emerald Bee, Stayed at a place called the WindRose Hotel near Termini Station in Rome last year. There was a real down to earth Restaurant just across the road from it. It didn’t have any frills but the food was lovely, the staff extremely nice and by Rome standards it was extremely reasonable. If it wasn’t packed , you could also just hang on after the meal and drink pints. I used to have an understanding with them, I’d have my meal around 7pm and head off walking around the City for a couple of hours, get back about 10/10.30 and pop back in for a few pints of beer and then waddle across the road to my Hotel bed, at all times accompanied by Mrs. corkcelt of course.
