Incredible pieces of Celtic History that you could win
As you may already know, we have 2 Celtic tops (1 home and 1 away) signed by the last 11 Club Captains of Celtic Football Club spanning the past 53 years of our unbroken history, from Billy to Broony. These items have been professionally designed and framed, containing all the players’ relevant stats. These truly are two of a kind and are a once in a lifetime opportunity to be the proud owner of. The signing of the tops took us around 18 months to achieve and the journey and story behind this was amazing. We plan to share this story with you over the coming weeks.
We are also delighted to announce that the money raised from the Captains tops (and other special prizes) will not only support Shay but also the wonderful work of the Celtic FC Foundation.
This is our plan
The WalkWithShay Campaign is now fully registered with the Licensing Board to run lotteries (raffles); and we are planning to hold our 1st raffle where the First Prize will be the Away Club Captains top, together with many other great Celtic related prizes. The draw date for this raffle will be 25th May 2017 (no need to remind you of the significance of that date). We need help to sell our raffle tickets for £5 each and spread awareness before then. Yes, that’s right, you could win the Away top for just £5!!!! The Home top will be raffled/auctioned or sold at a later date.
This is where we need your help…
We’re looking for
67 Supporters Clubs / Groups / Associations / Online Communities/Businesses/Establishments or super Individuals to each sell up to 50 (Lisboa) tickets @£5 each
This will form our Green Battalion
and
67 individuals to sell up to 10 (IAR) tickets @ £5 each
This will form our White Battalion
You are of course all welcome to sell more or indeed a smaller quantity of tickets, if you so desire. Regardless of what you sell (or buy) we really appreciate your support.
We would like to have all our sellers registered before Monday 3rd April, which is when we plan to go live with the sale of our raffle tickets. There is a bit of work here to ensure we comply with our license, so please contact us now.
Please help us recruit by sharing our story with your family, friends and colleagues.
Will you Join Wee Shay’s Green Raffle Army?
Are you able and willing to help and support this amazing initiative? If so please email us at walkwithshay@yahoo.com or if you are on Twitter send us a direct message @walkwithshay we are also on Facebook.
Thanks for taking the time to read our update and we really hope you can support Shay and his young family.
Yours forever in Celtic and thank you for Walking with Shay.

It seems from what you say that we did make approaches for targets.
I assume identified by Brendan and his management squad?
I believe we are far stronger today than when we went into last year’s CL qualifiers.
The recruitment of Lee Congerton has come in time for us to identify our summer targets.
Hopefully.
O’Dea is a lunatic.
Obviously he once was a hunskelper, however that is the past – he shouldn’t be kicking Celtic players all over the place.
It’s unacceptable.
Brilliant to see Jozo return to the team – a centre half who can actually play football is a rare commodity.
George Connelly was perhaps the best of all, Virgil modern times equivalent.
I’m not worried about unbeaten league records, however the players obviously wish to be the Invincibles.
Most important game now is the cup game against the dead club.
I expect nothing less than a convincing Celtic victory.
Marvellous.

Just think at times some fans can be a bit over critical, but you are needed to keep idiots like me who wasn’t even gutted about a 1-1 draw last Sunday, gutted about Madden the cheat but not the result
by the way these teams are really getting to grips with Brendan …… Dundee got beat and the Sevs didn’t win last Sunday……but you did make me smile with your January window post :-) cheers
Kevinlasvegas and Jmccormick
I never watch any other fitty apart from ourselves really and i just cannae imagine another side getting their opposition tore in about them like that.
I know its generally blood n snotters stuff here but i was a wee bit shocked at that today for some reason and i should know better.
Maybe its partly down to this unbeaten run and theres an extra spice(wee pun JMcC…..keep enticing us with what you are making amigo) in there but some of that was brutal again today.
Possible future half time team talk v us and tactical reshuffle incoming……..

The unbeaten thing is always going to be a weight around the teams neck, they will go into every game thinking don’t get beat and we’re still unbeaten. They know they’ve won the league so the unbeaten tag is all they are playing for.
Problem is it leads to no risk football.
3 wins from the treble.
Dont tell me we lost ‘another league’ match?!
For the second time this season we have lost our unbeaten record. Shocking!

These adverts are driving me nuts
Another fantastic 3 points deep into the season when niggling aches and pains are mounting up. Anyone not understanding muscle and myofascial distress that athletes accumulate over the course of a season has never played an extended run in a contact sport. Painful at the very least, and debilitating at worst.
This is particularly relevant in our prehistoric game where there is license for opposing teams to virtually maim our players.
Brendan will stick with his first XI till the league is won (hopefully our next run out), and then he will rest players, those especially of the creative variety.

The Sevs kid on they are the same club so they probably think they won, tell a lie long enough some then think it’s the truth :-)
1-1 draw
Celtic were poor but Madden was the top rated Sev on show last Sunday, today thought we done enough, although if the Griff was playing it might have been an easier day ….
Thank Eff we win, it’s international break some say a week in politics can be long, an international break on CQN is even blinking longer

Not a great performance. We don’t have enough options to change the game. Our failure to,recruit during the winter transfer window is starting to tell.

A truly laugh out loud moment! Cheers for that.

No bother whatsoever, didn’t take it as a dig at all……
As you say opinions is what we post, by the way wee fly digs are defintely allowed as well, when necessary :-)
NEGANON2 – there’s a clue in his moniker?
Lymmbhoy..
as always, pal ….thanks for posting the goals. for myself, and those of us who cant see the games at the moment, it is much appreciated!
And I like DO’D ….I didn’t see his foul today, so this is more of a general comment…
He was never the fastest defender, which may have made if difficult for him to stay (particulary, if we are in Europe where the game is faster) …but I always thought he gave everything once he put on a Celtic jersey… and unlike the zombies, who roll over when they leave and later play the zombies I would expect him to play just as hard against us as he did for us …. it is called self-respect… and self-respect is what separates us from them.

Wife up at DP for a wee charity do the day,it’s gony cost me:-)))
I don’t get a chance to read all the comments through the game when posting updates but unless I missed them most of the comments today were wondering why we seem to be a bit below the high standards we have set this season.
I haven’t seen posts slating players, the manager or the team setup/selection.
There was a concern that the players have had a long season, been kicked and fouled and could do with a break. I think this is a concern as we still have the SC to play for and most posters were putting forward views on what Brendan could do, which is sort of the point for a blog.

It wasn’t a tackle, he jump headlocked SS for some bizarre reason, he’s a good honest Tim though so that’s alright
