Delighted with the defensive performance last night. Although GMS was curtailed going forward, his defensive work was superb.
In Paul’s leader he mentions Johansen, who I thought had another poor game. He gave away a series of needless fouls, passing was poor and made a move of his head which could have resulted in a red card. There is no doubt he has plenty of energy but so had Forrest Gump and the Roadrunner. Bitton was my mom followed by the whole back 5. Izzy was certainly back to his tigerish best.

In the Celtic Caley semi final last season, I believe Craig Gordon was sent off for denying a goal scoring opportunity. The Caley player , Watkins, had already shot at goal when Craig Gordon brought him down. In my opinion it was a penalty and a yellow card for a late tackle on Watkins but not a red as the goal scoring opportunity no longer existed as Watkins had already shot at goal.

When playing in Europe I would swap Armstrong and Johansen around. Play SA in the centre, more composed and a better passer of the ball, but keep SJ’s energy, closing down and goal threat only from a slightly wider area.

I suppose refs will be given video scenarios of what is an obvious goal scoring opportunity and what is not from the H Dallas school of refereeing, sorry the SFA refereeing devlopment team, I thought Saturday’s incident was a difficult angle for the player to score from, it is another rule open to interpretation therefore arguments will be commonplace as there will be no consistency, however the media fury will not be anything like as Saturday when Celtic lose out. Hope your team do well but not against us.

I did however find it in my sent items of a previously shared Email.
I found it yesterday and it had the smaller (black coloured) blog nom’s and camouflaged links. Today when I checked it, I found it had green CAPITAL letters and the ‘links” were in bold.
