What is tolerated in Scotland

250

Even when Celtic are no longer involved in a cup competition, I usually have a commercial concern for the tournament and the game in general.  If we are not at a final (and Newco seldom are), who will buy the all tickets?  Even Aberdeen could not sell their allocation of tickets against Celtic in recent finals.

In this respect, it is a good time for the Scottish Cup semis and final to be behind closed doors.  The SFA will lose no more money than if Celtic were there for a fifth successive triumph.

You have to feel for St Johnstone fans, already denied attendance at their second major trophy win, they could also miss their third.  They were dragged into a sectarian scandal when their players were abused at the behind closed doors quarterfinal.  Carried out on the SFA’s watch by staff permitted to be pitch side, how the Association deal with the matter will tell you lots about how our game/country/media is run.

If only the abuser was from a different club, or better still, if he was Czech, the frenzy would ensure such attitudes were not tolerated in Scotland in 2021.  But you know there are.  Feeling a bit less interested in the SFA’s financial well-being, to be honest.

That is why the union you defend is dead.

in any way shape or form.

    its killin you too

That power you yearn for impossible.

its just to corrupt for your lot even(sirkeev!)

Yer point is actually comes across as valid but only highlights how your ideology is dead

    There is no comparison

It is all death.no moral equivalence.Death

Is a death via covid(scotland.anywhere) a worthy victim? and an iraqi( male/female) blown to bits an unworthy victim ? (or other way round)

You should try thinking Ernie instead of justifying a dogma constantly in defence of the warcriminal.now your on the war “go compare” trip..

Additional deaths caused by UK involvement in Iraq war: nil.

(Because the Iraq war would have gone ahead anyway without UK involvement.)

Additional deaths caused by SNP policy of sending Covid victims from hospitals to care homes? ???

Regarding Jeremy Corbyn, to the best of my knowledge he is not, and does not claim to be, a Marxist.

when i was a lad there was 7 ooh bands in my area.

    today there is 1.

each weekend before the 12th”,the week before”on growing up 12-16,000, would walk my main st, pre covid 1 band and a guest band would walk up,well before mass!.

still 2 bands to many but times have changed

the economy does not like its town centres paralysed with internecine violence associated with ‘bonds’ depending on which paramilitary “youthworker” leads their band.!!

i agree socially and economic a lot to do on the educational front as always, politically if the extremists sought the vote it would be met with the same answer it got in 6 counties.

    few votes.

is a scottish covid death a worth/unworthy victim?

is an iraqi death due to your fettes boyz decision to involve our country in the invasion of Iraq in an illegal war a worthy or unworthy victim?

are you contrasting the two? how sad.

In the past six years, he was in talks with Bayern on more than one occasion. Already in 2017, the German record champions considered Nagelsmann for the managerial position but had concerns about his lack of experience. These concerns have disappeared.

This isn’t a lecture big man. You are free to do what you obviously want to do. But read this first. The Yanks are finding that a heavy bevvy sesh can affect how beneficial the vaccination is for you

    ……………..

    Thanks for your Post/Info.

My 2nd Jab was on Monday evening and it looks like it will be Thursday or Friday before I try and venture out and find a Beer Garden so the long wait for a beer continues as ( yet again) I have bought stuff Online so I am waiting for a couple of deliveries between Today and Thursday or Friday, as I am the only one here.

I KNOW that its best NOT to drink alcohol after the Vaccine Jabs….Just in Case ? LOL

There is one other aspect of drinking in any Beer Garden that is putting me off going out right now, and that is the thought of having to Phone and Book up a Table for myself, and to sit outside. Im NOT a fan of drinking outside at any time at a Pub Venue. I am also wary of getting a Taxi to the Merchant City ( although I live only 500 yards or so away ), and heading to a Pub WITHOUT Booking ahead…only to be refused a Table , cos they are full up etc ?

Again as for your Post…4 or 5 Pints of Beer in One Day, isnt any real use to me in ” Normal” times, as once I have my Beer/Pub Heid on.., I tend to drink for Hours….Especially if I find myself in good company ?

    LOL

    HH Mate.

    Not even any Bruising.

  14. My friends in Celtic,

Reading back, the signs seem to be aligning for Eddie Howe. Woohoo.

I’m looking forward to the huns game now. We could have a new manager agreed in principle, a team of players who need to demonstrate that they are indeed better than their rank rotten performances suggest and it has been proven without a shad of doubt the huns are there for the taking.

Our start of a new tomorrow begins at the weekend.

    HH to all.

  15. I am STILL laughing at the Huns getting put oot the cup.

As I have always said…” Im NOT Biased, as I dont care WHO beats the Huns”.

Its funny how some ones ” Looks” can change so much over the years……

50 Years ago, when I was 15/16….I could look like ” Cousin IT”, due to having a full head of hair that sometimes I grew long….

Now that I am 65 years old…I have Transformed into ” Uncle Fester” !

    Sometimes, life aint fair.

    LOL

    HH.

  16. Really happy reading back to see that there are many on here regardless of your personal politics not falling for the scaremongering sectarian garbage that gets posted on here every day.

They are on here to divide and conquer, its been the tactic of the British Empire for hundreds of years and continues to be so. If we are at each others throats we’re not focusing on the damage that the butchers apron has done and continues to do.

I will not be defined by the behaviour of a small minority of sectarian bigots, regardless of which side of the divide, the next generation have moved on, my kids and their peers wouldn’t even be able to tell you the religion of their friends and colleagues. That’s huge progress and a much healthier society.

    Thumbs up CQN.

He can’t be much of a manager if he needs a backroom team.

Why can’t he do the job on his own?

So are you saying there’s no anti Irish Catholic racism in Scotland?

Or that there is, but that it is exaggerated?

And if so who is it that exaggerates it?

Is it the British Unionists Fascist Imperialist occupying forces to divide and conquer? Or is someone else? Like maybe, the victims?

    Do tell.

And could you explain why the SNP thought it necessary to introduce their Offensive Behaviour at Football and Threatening Communications (Scotland) Act 2012?

  20. Ernie ever thought about moving on? Still fighting the fight of the 50’s.

Most Scots have moved on maybe you should try it? Bitterness only spawns more bitterness.

You and JHB sound more like my parents generation rather than my childrens.
