Kari Arnason was marking Dembele but the striker has drifted off his shoulder and got himself into a great position. But it was marvellous play from Forrest to attack Andrew Considine and stand it up for him.
Aberdeen have been strangely passive, playing rope-a-dope tactics and hoping to score from a counter attack or a set play.
Looked like Tom Rogic was our best chance of breaking the deadlock but Ol’ “disinterested” Moussa did it, with a wee bit of support from our scapegoat to POTY (in one single bound)- wee Jamesie

Smashing goal for the big fella, Ntcham very unlucky with the shot that hit the post, I hope we continue to press them for the whole game, if we do we will get more, crosses from them a concern and that stand side linesman gave them a free when Jozo clearly won the ball.

HT good guys 1, Sheepies ( for Barney67 ) zilch…..we’ve hit the bar and post….and Moussa is back on the goal trail…..but the Dons have had chances….still think we need to up the pace going forward

Take the result, but strangely nervy showing.
Delighted for Moussa, the confidence booster he desperatly need, you will see a different player now.
I only wish Sinclair gets one, he looks totally bereft of all confidence, taking the easy way out every time.
JF needs to get into this game more, he is key

Hope you are collecting Dembelle anytime, I missed hattrick bet as MissGFTB had to get dropped off at my sisters and am not long back in house
In this day and age missing a bet even online is just silly, still hope Moussa bags the match baw

passive Aberdeen team in that first half – Mcinnes said before the game he expected to be without the ball for long periods of the game, he made his wish come true!
they did this at ibrox earlier this season – shite for an hour, then pinned the huns back for the last half hour, and should have won the game.
I expect they will go for it second half – expect a few bookings along the way

Relieved we got the goal.
JF continues his standout season.
The pitch lends itself to hoofing it Low and hard into the box. Every time Aberdeen have done so I’ve felt nervous!
I’m happy enough with the game, McInnesihno is clueless as a manager, no idea tactically, he’s played right into our hands, sheers Deek.
The pitch looks a bit bobbly but TR, JF and SS all look like they can do damage today.
Delighted for the Turned Head Moussa Dembele to get his goal, now kick on son:))
Strikers thrive on goals!!

Another dreadful playing surface to try and play decent football.
And it’s a pity that KT spends too much time playing the ball all the way back instead of driving forward because when he does he looks dangerous. And JF crossed a beauty for Moussa because he went wide instead of inside which just adds to the congestion in midfield. Take your man on wide Jamsie !
Getting the ball forward early on this dead pitch looks like our best ploy to create chances 2nd half.

Aberdeen must surely come out a bit more in 2nd half which should also help us. A few cards and goals likely in the next 45.

Straightforward game so far, with Aberdeen surrendering the ball to us in our own half, leaving little or no space to move within 30 yards of their goal, somtimes all 10 outfield players squeezed into a very congested area. Would be difficult for most teams to break that down, but they’re also playing very narrow as we attack down the right with JF. Inviting him to do what he did. Muppets.
McInnes all out to avoid defeat. Shocking lack of ambition. We’ve been a bit shaky defensively, but are bossing the game. Aberdeen have to change which should leave more space for midfield and forwards in second half

More & more impressed by Ajer. Could go on to be a really great player.
Delighted Moussa was the one to score, Strikers thrive on goals, it’s a confidence thing and Moussa looked short of confidence in recent times.
It’s still all to play for here, we need a second.

FROM NOT A HURTIN HUN.
FAVOURITE UNCLE
Translation: Aberdeen lie down against Timmy to push us back to nine points:)))
Haha suck it up huns!
Shocking tackle on Ajer……only a booking
Madden refuses to play the advantage.
Celtic fk outside D, booking dons
Ajer fouled as he broke forward. Yellow
fk us
Off wall, corner
corner us
Corner as wall holds
Do Celtic practice corners? Or do they practice hitting the first man?
Poor corner, cleared, back to Dorus
Low corner from Tom easily cleared
Nice to see….a bit of grit from Ajer…..

FK Aberdeen in our half as clock winds down
HT
Ajer took a full force kick to the shin as he marauded up the pitch.
Aberdeen player booked.
We clear and ref blows for HT.
Memorable goal from Moussa
This is a strange game. We’re utterly dominant but yet seem very nervous and unsure at times. Still, 1-0, HT.

Celtic need to be sharper to be sure of 3 points as Durus is glued to the line and that will not end well.
MD sluggish, hopefully his goal will energise him
Great clip Lymmbhoy
Aberdeen had to try something different but in doing so handed Celtic back our reputation from the KO, in a dominant first 45.
They’ve got to come out so expect more Celtic goals.
Don’t you just love the silence on Sky when Celtic nearly score or score?
More silence in the second half CSC
Passive play created a good chance for Aberdeen with a dangerous free kick on stroke of half time.
Brilliant by JF in creating Moussa’s goal.
A little bit more belief and we would demolish this lot.
I’ll take that.
