    Every time ex players, current players and managers talk about Celtic I hear them talk about the threat of Commons. Still we have supporters and a manager who question what he can offer.

    Celtic, I believe , would be better served by banning all our players from speaking to the Press. Even the more aware have their words twisted so a blanket ban would hardly harm us.

    It was a bit rash and i agree he certainly did not need to make it, however IMO the contact was not sufficiently strong enough to make the Aberdeen player go down in the manner in which he did, it was a dive, and to quote LG, it would not have been given to the team in green

     

     

    I agree with all the rest of your points, the match officials were shocking, the referee had a howler, irrespective of how badly we were playing

    HT I think your views on the incidents are probably correct. And taken in the order they occurred would almost certainly have changed the result.

    Out of interest does anyone know whether anyone other than sevco benefit from the Armed Forces days at the bigotdome? Even any armed forces charities for example – do they get a cut off the gate? I know ….,,,don’t snigger.

    I could be wrong but I suspect from your post that you suspect that the reason for Commons’ absence is because of his attitude rather than the manager not picking him.

    I’d put it in the soft category but for me it’s a daft challenge and their player goes down because of contact that didn’t need to be made.

    On this occasion it was the bit that Griffiths will cop a ban. The next bit about our players being shielded from the press was also spot on.

    Steven Maclean obviously had a memory lapse there. Had it occurred to him that Ryan Christie had signed for they tims I think hearts may well have had a pen for hand ball before ICT scored.

    Mulgrew,McGregor,and especially Commons should never put a Celtic Jersey on again,the game has passed them bye..How can we progress with this level of players,backwards are the way we are moving,quickly.

     

    Let’s try the youth,then we will find out if they are good enough.

     

    Sack the scouts or at least there boss.

    See my earlier post about the inability to re-assess the substitutions at the Hayes red card.

     

     

    Commons should’ve been on, at the start. If not at the start then at the red card. Janko too was a better option than Efe at that point too……

     

     

    But it’s the Commons ommission that rankles. We have so little threat in front of goal how RD can justify not having him in the team, has me frustrated.

     

     

    In my opinion. Ronny alienated some of the players on arrival. I think he admitted to having some problems during the transition period.

     

     

    I think there’s the possibility that some of the guys have never took to him fully and the public outburst after Malmo, has lit some smouldering resentment.

     

     

    Now that’s putting 2 plus 2 and getting 875……….I appreciate that.

     

     

    But the team look like a collection of individuals.

     

     

    It’s not lost on me that the only guy who was really animated yesterday was Griffiths……..another he doesn’t really fancy.

    Last season I posted there will be bumps along the road with Ronny.

     

    He is still inexperienced at this level/ in this league, more so in Europe, but the second half of last season showed progress. We have slipped, yes, but only a little, why?

     

    New defence, in my opinion, it is that simple. They have no game time, time to play together, get to settle in and know each other’s game. The big signing hasn’t even played yet!!!! Only a few days training.

     

    Has Ronny made mistakes? Of course, as mentioned still inexperienced, therefore learning.

     

    We have started this season about average, SFTB’s, thanks, nice perspective, but not so poorly as some have espoused.

     

    We will improve, and win the league, over a season we have the best squad.

     

     

    Talk of demanding the treble, sorry but that is just wishing.

     

    Nothing any manager, or even CEO can do will guarantee a treble, chance, Mibbery and individual poor performance or mistakes are too influential.

     

    It simply makes you a hostages to fortune, don’t forecast what you can’t control, a league we can control, a cup, not.

     

     

    Mind, I am not saying everything is hunky dory at CP, but it isn’t a disaster. Another bump in the road. I still expect more.

    When you watch Hayes challenge on Mikel look out for his left foot; it makes contact before the follow through with his Right leg and much talked about Shin Pad. The angle from behind shows the point of impact and Mikel’s leg bends in weird angle , this was a leg break challenge and the ban should be increased on appeal.

     

     

    I initially thought Derek was to blame for a rash tackle, but again when you look at it from the reverse angle that little rat Shinnie sticks out his right leg and catches the big man thus conning the Ref and many people watching into thinking it was a penalty.

     

     

    I too thought Charlie’s Handball was a Penalty until I heard that medium sized Rat Mcinnes question the decision in his post match interview (ala Leigh). He said the ball travelled 30 yards before hitting Charlie’s hand. I watched it again and the Ball travels 20 yards before bouncing off a greasy (bassa’s) surface and bouncing up 1 yard to hit Charlie who has his hands in a natural position.

     

     

    I don’t think the Aberdeen player meant to kick Mikel in the head but when I watch the reaction of the Aberdeen players and Bench(suggesting Mikel was cheating) I really hope the SFA punish the Aberdeen player and the club as a whole.

     

     

    I am begining to feel the same dislike towards Aberdeen Football Club that I felt for the old Rangers and still feel towards Hearts , it will make it all the more pleasent when we win the League by 17+ points again.
