And so it begins

478

And do it begins.  For years we were subject to ‘Martin O’Neill leaving’ stories, as everyone from local pundits to Tory Party leaders wanted him to move south  Now they want Brendan to leave his beloved Celtic.

This is the reality of success, the alternative is anonymous failure.

I don’t know Brendan’s inner thoughts, but I know he invokes plans for years ahead at the club when taking to his employer. He may or may not be settled in Scotland, but he sounds it.

There are lies dam lies and statistics.

    St.Johnstone 5 fouls in 45 minutes with 3 yellows.

The truth is 2 of those yellows could/should have been red..

But of course because the opposition was The Famous Glasgow Rangers the unseen Fenian hand that controls Scottish referees made sure they were only yellows

If ON plays further forward he needs to break the lines and move people about as well as get 10-15 goals a season. I think the first goal on Sunday illustrated how things could work, ON taking the ball off the defenders, passing to Rogic then to Jamesy. The best 15 mins we had on Sunday was before half time during which ON was pulling the strings. He can play no10 like he did against Hearts but i don’t think he’s ruthless enough in the final third.

Know what your saying mate, but so called professional players deciding when and when not to give 100% really does my heid in. Its so blatent as well, canny believe supporters of these teams continue to put up with it, or maybe they are happy enough cause their all huns together, feck them all.

It’s all about opinions, but I would prefer a smaller squad. A larger squad may give us more variety, but how do you keep 28 players match fit. As we are all aware, fit and match fit are two different propositions.

  8. Roberttressel,

about any sevco players making our team,

I had a conversation with one of their supporters,a reasonable guy,

he said the only Celtic player he would take for Sevco would be KT

  9. Well I watched that. Tommy Wright should be ashamed.

    The fix is in.

Our class will tell but do not expect any team to play against Sevco….

I saw a BBC thing a while back and they were talking to the little old wife and the average Joe on the street, the anti Celtic-Irish sentiment was palpable, Scott Brown was a thug, etc, etc, these were folks who imo couldn’t give a toss about football, but hte message was getting through, there is a long, long ways to go till these people and there offspring are educated, sad to say.

    Hoop hoop,

And if Aberdeen had made a fight against them, they could be top too, or the Hun dropping points to bottom six dross. Whole combination possibilitys…

  13. HOOP HOOP HOORAY

Aye, just think how many more points they would have lost if they had beat Progres Niederkorn (4th place in Luxembourg) and had to play midweek games as well.

Ach well, just as well we’ll never have to imagine such a scenario..,

  14. Anyways, it’s Andalucia Day tomorrow, the whole region is on holiday, the bars will be open, that’s it, strange how they do things here, back in Ireland or scotland the night before a day off the bars would be quite busy, no here, the holiday itself the bars are busy, I have been here for nearly ten years now and still struggling to grasp some of what they do, they still have a siesta here in the middle of winter ffs, go back to work at five till nine when it cold, dark and they do little trade, but tradition is hard to break.

‘Rangers’ are the Wizard of Oz of world football.

Their projection is large, loud, awesome and terrifying.

But if you have the guts to stand up to them and look behind the curtain …….

….. there is nothing there except a wee man with a mic and a mouth full of bombast.

While we’re on the subject of ‘what if’s’……… If the SFA had been fit for purpose ,there widnae be a Sevco tae discuss!

  18. We will win the unprecedented double Treble – I have no doubts.

I also have no doubts that the word has gone out to try and stop us.

    Futile.

I wish both my grandfathers were here to celebrate with me , my dad , my bro and my mighty cousins – cause it will be the best since the Lions.

  19. thomthethim for Oscar OK on

Wright made four changes from his winning team for tonight’s match.

Mc.Innes changed his team’s normal tactics against them.

Both had the same effect on the results.

This league has not been won yet.

If anyone is in any doubt, the fouls/card count tonight should give cause for thought.

If ever they needed a title, it is this one.

Their very existance could depend on it.

The fix is well and truly….IN.

Anyone know what the GASL is in court for tomorrow

    *****

He is appealing the Cold Shoulder decision.

It’s his usual stalling tactic on an adverse court decision.

He stalled the South African courts for ten years.
