ANGE: BRIGHTON BALONEY, LEICESTER LUNACY – CELTIC HERO’S VERDICT

1

CHRIS SUTTON called it when Ange Postecoglou was linked with the Brighton’s manager’s job.

And the former Celtic striker has repeated his sentiments with the Greek-Australian gaffer now ludicrously tipped as a potential target for Leicester City.

Earlier this month, as CQN reported, Sutton insisted Postecoglou would be “downgrading” if he quit Parkhead for the south coast club after Graham Potter’s move to Chelsea.

Now the one-time England international has made his thoughts known following reports the Midlands outfit, currently anchored at the foot of the Premier League after six defeats and a draw from the first seven games, are eyeing a second swoop on the east end of Glasgow in three and a half years to solve their managerial problems.

Sutton tweeted: “Champions League team or maybe Championship team next season…why would Ange Postecoglou want to downsize right now?”

The Hoops chief is in Australia at the moment to promote Celtic’s participation in the Sydney Super Cup when they take on the local team and Everton in November, and has admitted Leicester are “not really on my radar”, as CQN reported earlier today.

So, we’ve had Brighton baloney and now Leicester City lunacy. Who’s next to be reportedly interested in a swoop to try to pinch the Parkhead gaffer?
