an absolutely awesome defensive performance from celtic, a game against the best offensive team the world has seen with hardly a single defensive error.
special bunch at celtic at the moment

I am getting to hate European competitions we just never get the rub of the green.Make no mistake thats a great Barcelona team and we nearly got a point at Parkhead it will be a totaly different game as we must have a real go so there will be space at the back.We must learn from this that you have to retain possesion of the ball and not keep lumping it anywhere I dont think Barcelona wasted a ball all match great display bhoys and keep your chin up.H.H.

We missed Sammi’s defensive capabilities in the second half.

It doesn”t come much tougher than that. Proud of them all. Such good times to come.
Glasgow Celtic, thank you for a superb performance.
We can beat them in Glasgow, after tonight, I’m sure we can definitely do that.
These young men were sensational against who I consider to be the Greatest team I have ever seen.
The age of our team is incredible and they will know they can beat anyone in Europe now, especially at Celtic Park.
Neil Lennon, Thank You especially, as you rightly said, this is only the beginning.

Well,we expected less, but got more ,this team is only going to get better.there will be people happy tonight, but remember it is better to lose by one goal at Barcelona than Stirling

I love this team.

God Bless Neil Francis Lennon.

You’re not alone. I got very frustrated with the lengthy chase and had all kinds of Given/Gordon distractions.
Neil is the mhan.
Same with Kelvin. Hated his early Celtic career yet now he is showing us why Neil really wanted him.
I repeat, Neil is the mhan…

Ruthless lesson, gutting, absolutely galling but maybe a wee blessing in disguise.

In second place, two home games to come.
Draw, at least v Barca, draw at Benfica, win v Spartak at Paradise.

What a sickener after such a brave performance. Barca are a class act and I’m sure our young Bhoys will learn from the experience.
Fraser was immense and Ambrose too. Vic will learn when to part with the ball when on a long run and Gary when you need to take it into the flag in the dying minutes.
Great effort, bad luck.

Silver lining, Chelsea got humped. (Not much consolation but)

Proud of that team of youngsters and their mettle. They deserved more.
Fraser? Destined for England caps. Fantastic performance.

perspective right enough, its not like we trying to score against stirling.
and our boss in not in the same suit shop as the fat paul la guen.
2nd in the group, I can take that.
gone are the days of standard 3-0 gubbins away from home.
Heads up bhoys
very very proud of the team, lets take em at parkhead
Unlucky Bhoys
Away to find some false nails as i have eaten 20 off them
5 subs, 1 injury, 4 minutes? Only 2 in the first half despite Sammi’s lengthy treatment.
Ach, if only wee James knew how to defend.
Big Fraser MoM some world class saves and nothing he do for either goals.
the long wait is over
Appalling post. Wanting a Celtic player shot?
Dear dear
As soon as goal goes in Scumhun text comes in.
They are, always will be, loathe some even though they don’t even have a team of their own
Proud of my team tonight
We must have done well to feel so bad at a 2-1 defeat in the Camp Nou.
Small margins…
Cruel end but no need for any scapegoats.
Forster, Lustig, Ambrose and Wanyama were superb, but we did not trouble them as much as Neil hoped we would.
We played a very clever game tonight, did not resort to the physical stuff and showed a real maturity.
Failing to hold the ball further up the pitch was down to Sami going off injured as Hooper can’t do this to the same level.
We were so close. A heroic performance. We are undeniably up there with Europe’s elite. Neil Lennon deserves the highest praise.
All part of the learning curve for a young team and manager. We’ve came a long way in 14 months since we got hammered by a poor swiss team.
We have done this often enough.
Pay back.
We were brilliant.
Great to see a good gutsy Celtic team take the worlds best and almost out point them.
Neil Lennon Thank you !
HH
Gutted to come home empty handed from the NOU CAMP
now thats a sign of the times
Lets be positive bhoys and ghirls
All hail Neil Lennon, Celtic legend.

Heartbreaking defeat – but second place in the group and two home games to come.
We can still qualify for the knock out stages. And we must take so much from a brilliant display against a brilliant team.
So F’in close to snatching a point but proud as hell nonetheless.
Anyway another learning curve for our magnificent management and coaching team.
All we lost is one point in a 4 team League, what we won is the respect of the entire football world.
