We must have done well to feel so bad at a 2-1 defeat in the Camp Nou.
Small margins…
Cruel end but no need for any scapegoats.
Forster, Lustig, Ambrose and Wanyama were superb, but we did not trouble them as much as Neil hoped we would.
We played a very clever game tonight, did not resort to the physical stuff and showed a real maturity.
Failing to hold the ball further up the pitch was down to Sami going off injured as Hooper can’t do this to the same level.
We were so close. A heroic performance. We are undeniably up there with Europe’s elite. Neil Lennon deserves the highest praise.
All part of the learning curve for a young team and manager. We’ve came a long way in 14 months since we got hammered by a poor swiss team.
We have done this often enough.
Pay back.
We were brilliant.
Great to see a good gutsy Celtic team take the worlds best and almost out point them.

an absolutely awesome defensive performance from celtic, a game against the best offensive team the world has seen with hardly a single defensive error.

I am getting to hate European competitions we just never get the rub of the green.Make no mistake thats a great Barcelona team and we nearly got a point at Parkhead it will be a totaly different game as we must have a real go so there will be space at the back.We must learn from this that you have to retain possesion of the ball and not keep lumping it anywhere I dont think Barcelona wasted a ball all match great display bhoys and keep your chin up.H.H.
We missed Sammi’s defensive capabilities in the second half.
It doesn”t come much tougher than that. Proud of them all. Such good times to come.

Heartbreaking defeat – but second place in the group and two home games to come.
We can still qualify for the knock out stages. And we must take so much from a brilliant display against a brilliant team.
So F’in close to snatching a point but proud as hell nonetheless.
Anyway another learning curve for our magnificent management and coaching team.
All we lost is one point in a 4 team League, what we won is the respect of the entire football world.

These young men were sensational against who I consider to be the Greatest team I have ever seen.
The age of our team is incredible and they will know they can beat anyone in Europe now, especially at Celtic Park.

You’re not alone. I got very frustrated with the lengthy chase and had all kinds of Given/Gordon distractions.
Neil is the mhan.
Same with Kelvin. Hated his early Celtic career yet now he is showing us why Neil really wanted him.

Ruthless lesson,gutting,absolutely galling but maybe a wee blessing in disguise.

In second place, two home games to come.
Draw, at least v Barca, draw at Benfica, win v Spartak at Paradise.
What a sickener after such a brave performance. Barca are a class act and I’m sure our young Bhoys will learn from the experience.
Fraser was immense and Ambrose too. Vic will learn when to part with the ball when on a long run and Gary when you need to take it into the flag in the dying minutes.
Great effort, bad luck.
Silver lining, Chelsea got humped. (Not much consolation but)
