Jeezo. There are some miserable negative Jeremiahs on here tonight.
I am proud to be a Tim this evening, and we can take some real encouragement from tonight’s performance.
The future is looking good for us. We are privileged to be Tims and to be living in such exciting times. If you can’t enjoy that you are sad indeed.

Anyone who says that was a backs-to-the-wall performance, tell them Man U and Chelsea played exactly the same, saw very little of the ball in the Nou Camp, were camped around their own box. Our performance was every bit as good as the top teams who have been there, and what’s more we so nearly got a point.
We did, we had so much ball, but the lack of experience showed when we just gave the ball away far too easy.

watching on tv it’s hard to appreciate the lung bursting effort given by the midfield players in particular.
can’t say enough how impressed i was by the constant chasing and harrying after the ball.
plus they kept their shape so well for the whole game closing down space and limiting the number of chances. i’m sure they’ll take great pride in the performance
How long ago was 3-0 down at Kilmarnock? The progress from that to being gutted at losing to an injury time goal in the Camp Nou….
Take a bow, Neil Francis Lennon. Manager of the famous Glasgow Celtic.
i met neil by accident and thanked him for a great season. he asked me what i liked about it………….i said james forrest second half of the kilmarnock game, he repied,
without doubt.

Brilliant performance tonight ….deserved the point.
Losing sammi and brown to injuries was a major blow as both of these would have lasted the 90 , allowing us to replace hooper who had to play the whole 90 as the lone striker and possibly have brought on Matthews as fresh legs

The experience of that 90 mins will be priceless in the development of this young team.
We literally should fear no one after taking the best team in the world to the last kick of the ball.
Very proud of my club tonight.

Great performance- one I didn’t think we were quite ready to produce. Stinking finale as it was quite a soft winning goal but hard to fault anybody- they are the Muhammad Ali of football teams and losing so narrowly is no disgrace.
Gutted though I am I cannae wait for the return!

Wilson has certainly improved with Ambrose along side him. I thought tonight would test how good Ambrose is as a centre back and was not disappointed. Kelvin looks more assured in attacking the ball with Ambrose along side him.
like others I am looking forward to what the Spanish press have to say. As others have said. No shame in parking the bus.

So close, yet so far. Absolutely gutted to lose in such a cruel way. Fine, fine performance by a very inexperienced team at this level.
Take account of the average age of the team, 23 or 24? Then take in to account a young manager still learning the ropes as well.
Then you remember we are playing against argueably the best club team ever assembled. We took them to the wire. Onwards and upwards for the bhoys.
Falkirkbhoy this is the 3rd Cl game this team with vast majority of them never playing in the competition and they are also very young. The future looks very bright for us.

Great performance by Lenny’s young lions.
Barca team cost over 140 million to assemble and that not even counting messi.
You got to learn and this young team will go all the way on the last 2 performances away from home against champions of Portugal and Spain
So proud but would have loved the point.
But at the end of the day would take 2nd or 3rd in group to winning a point tonight.

Celtic are getting better all the time. Fate dealt us a kind blow in the summer. If Fojut hadn’t become injured we’d likely never have purchased Ambrose. With him at the back we now have a complete defensive unit. I am sure we’ll be playing in either champions league or europa after christmas, just hope we can keep the team at least until the end of the season and give the knockout stages a proper crack, if we drop into europa we have the makings of a great run.

falkirkbhoy – that’s 2 negative comments. Third strike and yer oot!
What did you expect tonite? Celtic don’t do `tiki-taki’, we do 100% effort and just happened to be up against the best in the business. We were marvellous.

Jeez, Falkirkbhoy, that was Barca we were playing mate, we didn’t park the bus.
Some of our counter attacking was excellent, by small margins these games are won and lost.
What was all that tall about playing away in Europe!
centre backs were awesome tonight. looks like we’ve found ourselves a decent partnership

I like that Braga strip. That would make. Good away strip. And it is from Nike.
Perhaps not technically ‘injury time’ but I felt, somehow, injured!
Methinks we won’t see Broonie in the Hoops until Barca at home
It will be a completely different side that faces Kilmarnock on Saturday after the effort shown by the bhoys tonight
