SOAL – only a year? Seriously? What amazing progress by our young management team….think I’ll open another Peroni to toast that!
fourstone – I’m not Stoksies biggest fan, but those 2 goals at Kilmarnock helped us keep our progressive young manager.
Neg Anon – loving it! :-)

Don’t know how our Bhoys are feeling ,but I was knackered just watching
Barca’s relentless performance, our ghuys could not have given any more,
plus big Sammi going off didn’t help.
Build on this Celtic,in two weeks we will get our revenge(hopefully).

pggtips2. I would take the Europa league now over the last 16. We are already 5 points ahead with a game in hand in the league without having a consistent run of form. A few more games in Europe after christmas and a run tot he quarters or semis (getting ahead of ourselves?) would certainly make this one of the best seasons ever.
Puts things into perspective, that’s from the so called best league in the world!

Sickener at the end. Wasn’t Wee James’s fault. He doesn’t have the defensive awareness required for a game like this and, but for the injury to Sammy, I don’t think he’d have been called on (unless we were chasing the game).
Forster did his reputation no harm at all with that performance, although Hooper had an off night and lone striker isn’t really his forte.
Commons looked comfortable in this esteemed company and was a great impact player, although too many of his team-mates couldn’t cope with the harrying of the Barcelona players.
Feel for the Bhoys and especially for Lenny. A 1-1 would have been a great result and vindication of Lenny’s tactics.
Looking forward to a fortnight’s time. In Lennon We Trust.
Away to bed. I think we can take them at home. I hink we can shout and scream to bill into the net. I hink we can qualify and in his decade can lift the big one. ……. AGAIN.

Not read back, and hate to be negative as i doubt the Barca games will make any difference to us qualifying or not but 90 mins on the clock not one player on a yellow card and we didn’t think to kill the game by fouling?? Is that bad play? Common sense? Put the foot in, defend your goal line in numbers.
Half way through the group, we sit second, played two games away from home.
Well chuffed with that. We have a real chance to progress from this group, we were in pot 4!

Sammi’s injury looked like ligament damage to me. Let’s hope not as we need him for return game at Paradise

Before the match I had convinced myself that we would lose to the best side on the planet, with the best player on the planet,,,but after losing a 94 th minute goal I am gutted, very happy and proud but gutted nonetheless!!!!
We have a chance of taking something at Parkhead against Barca!!!

If you’re going to take a sore defeat then it’s better to do so away to the
world’s best team. We were very unlucky because it looked to me like a
foul on Joe Ledley just before the goal at the end.
