Having coped quite well, the moment we level we go back to looking like rabbits in the headlights. A long 45 in store but so far, so good.

I hope Ange gets backed to the hilt in January (and next Summer) – if we do back him – we are on to something incredibly Special.
BL are a very good side. Can’t be disappointed at 1-1.

Calum McGregor has been very poor.
Good possession play but an occasional long balll to Kyogo wouldn’t go amiss. When we had a corner we took it short and it led to a dangerous counter. Get the ball into their box more.

Usual trait of giving the ball away in Europe, should have been punished a couple of times, but rode our luck, a def pen but also a def red card, he near decapitated Koyogo FFS.
Hopefully Ange has seen their weaknesses, cos I was struggling, need to get wee Jamsie into the game somehow.

Our best bet at taking this to the final game is still Ferencvaros grabbing a point out in Spain. We’ll be up against it in this second half. Although we will have opportunities at a counter attack should we find our range with the through balls.
Delighted with first half but not a fan of those kind of penalties.
OK it went in and I’m delighted but not a great penalty in my book.
We are up against a very good team & doing well.

Bayer Leverkusen are going for a CL spot in possibly the strongest League in the World. They are playing outfield players that average an age of 21 and have a very good Coach who has his team well organised. It has been a great game to watch.
They are well drilled and talented team and we’ll do we’re doing well to keep close to them – can we maintain it……..
Love the way they play – spring forward so quickly – we could learn as one thing we still do too much is square and sideway passes.
