Offensive, insulting and abusive language is not condoned on CQN nor anywhere else but if you’re mumbling to this effect while typing more prosaic comments we don’t have a problem. If, by some clever use of technology, I discretely caught you on mic while recording a feature for CQN and broadcast your words it would be my fault, not yours.
If Neil Lennon addressed insulting or abusive language at an official or opponent then he should be correctly disciplined, but if, as reported, television microphones picked up randomly comments there is no case to answer.
We’re getting back to the days when directional radio mics were used to pick up sound from Celtic fans getting off buses outside Falkirk Stadium in 2009. This one feels opportunistic and is not balanced by audio from other technical areas under scrutiny. If this is how the SFA want to control technical areas, they should issue advice to this effect and introduce appropriate measures, not attempt to discipline Neil Lennon without precedent.

I recall a TU meeting where one of the speakers was admonished for using the word ‘arsehole’. He asked for the right of reply and proceeded to apologise for saying arsehole and if anyone was offended by his using the word arsehole then he promised to try and refrain from using it, he finished off, to a standing ovation, with an apology to any arseholes present!

What can the rags do throw sticks and stones, we have no friends within the walls of the media institutions so nothing lost nothing gained! Lets challenge every little thing no matter how petty. 2 years ago they were terrified that we were gonae bankrupt them with our challenges so they ain’t invincible! I FULLY agree with you…..the cheating barstewards have cheated every team and fan in Scotland…… They have caused other teams to build up unsustainable debts trying to compete with cheats, and some clubs have ended up being liquidated as a result ….AND, on a personal level, I an feckin raging…..my SB has cost me circa £15,000 over the past 12 years (not to mention the shares I purchased at 3 share issues……only to discover that I have been cheated also….. simply have an 18 team top flight with 2 leagues of 12 under that.
36 league games a season = 1 at home and 1 away from home
add to the league multiple relegations and relegation playoffs and European football playoff spots to keep the whole league interesting and to reduce meaningless games
fairer share of t.v, radio etc… income throughout the leagues from top to bottom( more clubs getting less money, but bridging the gap)
have euro participation money pot where 50% of all profit from European football goes directly into the league, with the other 50% going to the participating club (improved competition, league, overall income from all clubs, close gap between top two and other 4 team, increase gap between top 6 and rest of league and we’re more likely to see more competition, interest and supporters at the games as well as, improve euro runs)
set our football to run during the summer months so we play in better weather, have less competition for football on t.v and increase our clubs chances for being in Europe after july/ august
set up Scottish football channel with a competitive league that regularly has several league challengers and excitement and we’ll easily get 150k viewers and good sponsorship would drive up the income from t.v tenfold. add the selling of most popular games to mainstream t.v and we’re talking.
merge the governing bodies so that only money needed to run Scottish football is used, rather than having lots of people taking from a pie while our clubs die before us.
have MLS type transfer system in which the league can support clubs to retain good young Scottish players for a % of any return on transfer (help clubs keep and develop talented players.
would be happy to see the introduction or b teams in lower leagues i.e. celtic, sevco, Dundee united etc…
p.s I would go through with proposals being sought now before implementing changes in 3 years time when the clubs in the 12 leagues are living within their means with regular income and we have 24 full-time teams

Anyone else see a case for thousands of Celtic shareholders doing something similar for income / profit lost over cheating by old Rangers?
