Offensive, insulting and abusive language is not condoned on CQN nor anywhere else but if you’re mumbling to this effect while typing more prosaic comments we don’t have a problem. If, by some clever use of technology, I discretely caught you on mic while recording a feature for CQN and broadcast your words it would be my fault, not yours.
If Neil Lennon addressed insulting or abusive language at an official or opponent then he should be correctly disciplined, but if, as reported, television microphones picked up randomly comments there is no case to answer.
We’re getting back to the days when directional radio mics were used to pick up sound from Celtic fans getting off buses outside Falkirk Stadium in 2009. This one feels opportunistic and is not balanced by audio from other technical areas under scrutiny. If this is how the SFA want to control technical areas, they should issue advice to this effect and introduce appropriate measures, not attempt to discipline Neil Lennon without precedent.

I agree with BadaB that PL will probably have a reasonably free reign to run the club on a day to day basis, within constraints obviously.
Anything that affects the clubs finances I would imagine DD would want to know about, but as for the bollix of the sfa, he won’t care a jot, he will be too busy pruning his mouser, and worrying about where his next round of golf will be.

PL will have a fair bit of autonomy, but it’s fair to say that the SFA facillitated skullduggery has and will effect the club’s finances ; so that brings it into the scope of DD’s concern, by your reasoning.
I don’t hold out much hope, just a little hope, that Celtic have an inside track to the final resting place of the reincarnation and will let it play out.
I suppose I can afford to wait and see if that is the caes, as I don’t have a ST renewal to factor in.
For what it’s worth, I don’t think the Board are stupid or reckless with Celtic’s future, and it’s that thought that keeps the spark alive.
Then again, the club may feel that they have to accept the pragmatic approach, as if you can’t beat them…….

Don’t accept that, guys like DD have more important things to worry about than a football club, it’s an ego trip for him, no more, no less, now if we were in say the epl, I agree he would be more pro active, but scotland, no chance.
I did say within constraints.
He makes an appearance at the CL games, the cameras are there, the world is watching.
If anything that materially affects the club, he will want to know about, but the day to day stuff, not a hope in hell.

The mind boggles at the lengths the football authorities will go to chip away at the club.
The only time we can beat this chancers is when they become sloppy and incompetent like Farry, Keevins and Dallas, on all other ocassions they will use every opportunity to stick the boot in.
The football ‘rules’ are so loose and as we have observed recently can be interpreted in any old way that tales the rule makers fancy.
Neil will get the book thrown at him and a bunch of pious horsesh1t thrown at him by blazered emboldened masons ……. all he can do is smile at these tossers and comment on he is preparing for the title celebrations and looking ahead to the CL qualifiers.
The club are in a difficult position and just need to sit tight , win the league and cup , and crack open the champange at AOB at each board meeting to celebrate the downfall of Dignity. Finally, if we start complaining to outside boides, UEFA, then we will just be pidgeon holed as trouble makers and when the day comes when football is re-shaped , we need to seen as the good ghuys and be ready ……….
I sense that the SFA and SPL are pushing the envelope too far but they are at the end of their competency , so they need to tread carefully.

Stay cool.
Time for sleep.
Another hard days work the morra, again for no pay, but sometimes when you are doing something for someone else, it’s better than any monetry value.
The young wan will be starting her new life in scotland next week, she deserves a break, and her parents will no doubt be worrying their minds over her, aye right, scum of the highest order.
