We now know that Craig Whyte met Neil Doncaster and Ralph Topping, directors of the SPL, in London in October 2011 and informed them of the likelihood that Rangers would go into liquidation. Whyte’s plan, to start a Newco and have it parachuted into top flight football was only taken seriously as a result of these three having a head start on everyone else and doing some preparatory work.
Charles Green has no such plans. If he loses Ibrox, becomes embroiled in IPO-related troubles or fails to bridge the gap between money-in and money-out, an unplanned liquidation could follow with a potentially protracted period where physical assets are moribund and playing assets and other staff are released.
The SPL and SFL would do well to consider ‘what next?’ when they hold separate meetings next week. The century-old ways are gone, things will never be the same again.
I’m really pleased the aforementioned Charlie issued an apology for his offending comments, even if he did so under duress from the SFA. This kind of rhetoric has taken control within football in some European countries. Once the door is open it is hard to close it again.

It’s true the two communities in the occupied 6 counties live separate lives especially so in belfast. Schools have nothing to do with it we choose to live in our own areas to feel safe. I once moved to a ‘mixed’ area but never settled nor felt truly comfortable tbh.
Got me thinking and I think the first proper contact I had with a Protestant person was when I started work at 16 but then I was born & bred in west belfast.

Sorry if I over-reacted as I said earlier I dont need to punt a negative message John Swinney made our case for us he said in a secret report that Scotland would be in terrible economic state read the report it is unusual for the SNP it tells the truth and it took a civil servant to leak it before we all knew it existed JS wass nit going to share it with the Scottish people.

Fholks , little bit of a an unashamed plug. As you may , The Kano Foundation is holding it’s 3rd (!) Annual End of Season bash on 27th April 2013 in The Kerrydale Suite @ 7:30 .
Tickets are £25 per person and the evening consists of 3 course meal , disco , raffle and the company of a couple of hundred TIMS .
We’ve been humbled by the support we’ve had over the last 3 years , allowing us to take almost 2000 kids to see Celtic for free (well we’ll reach that next season , might as well start publicising it ) . This is one of the few fund-raisers we’ll have this year . Please , if you’re in town for the weekend , consider spending saturday night with us .

As you can testify to I am certainly big enough and ugly enough to handle myself I have stood up to them all my life they don’t bother me the family is a worry and it cost me a big box of cakes for the secretaries for the poor staff that had to suffer their bile.
A good few years in Martial arts and kick boxing allows you to be a bit more mouthy but not much use against a baseball bat
