    Improving all the time,a great sign for any team.Might have won it but then again we could have lost it.Compared to where we were only months ago it’s massive progress.

     

    Excited about the future more that I have been in a long,long time.

     

    Could probably find something to moan about if I looked for it but don’t think i’ll bother.

    Never saw the Barca game tonight, but imo this is the worst Barca team I have seen for a few years, they won’t win La Liga this season, we can do them imo, BR made a total bollix of the game in Spain, he knows it, he won’t make the same mistake again.

     

    I am actually not worried about the game in Manchester either, I don’t think we will lose the game.

    Well played Celtic.

     

     

    A draw away without a few first choice defenders. Fantastic to see a couple of our own youngsters come on and both getting shots off.

     

     

    Wanted us to go for it at the end, but I would have been gutted to lose a late goal against ten men.

     

     

    Its a strange feeling I have at the moment, pride in my team, but slightly disappointed we only got a draw in Germany.

    BOURNESOUPRECIPE. Dembele in my opinion looked real class tonight at 20 years of age I am sure he has a great future ahead of him I just wish it was with Celtic but if he keeps playing and improving he will become our record transfer.The money we get for him if it is given to Brendan could go along way to strengthen the team.     Give McGregor a break. Thought ages ago that Henderson deserved the break ahead of him but the truth is that they they both have real quality. Tonight, if Calum had directed the anywhere nearer the target, the keeper had it covered. So no more nonsense about a missed chance to win the game.

     

     

    This was a brilliant performance and we still have a slender chance to influence the outcome of the group. Amazing given our resources and the relative weakness of our domestic competition. Rodgers is the business.

    Remember that Moussa Dembele is on 4 yr contract with Celtic until July 2020, so how much cash will it take to sign him in an earlier transfer window, say summer 2018 ?

     

     

    Probably a bit more than the £500k it took to buy him ;-)

    Good performance tonight. The reality is no pot 4 team has one a game so far, Tonight we came close. Progres is happening. Keep in going Brendan , Rome wasnt built in a day.

    Well, having read most of the posts on here tonight and seeing that opinions differ, I’d just like to say that Brendan has brought us to a new level and given time, I’m sure that we will be rightly proud of his achievements. We just faced up very well to a Bundesliga outfit and could have won it at the end. Onward and upward.

    Not much to add but regards to the last few minutes of the game

     

     

    I remember an interview I saw with Gary Lineker talking about his

     

     

    Time at Barcelona, anyway he was say that when they were getting

     

     

    Beat with minutes to go then Cruyff would be on the sideline

     

     

    Screaming for them to punt it into the box,

     

     

    Total football…. think we could have learned from the Master tonight

    I was impressed with Armstrong when he came on as a substitute in the semi final, away in Dingwall and at Pittodrie. Tonight I thought he was below the required standard.

    I didn’t expect anything from tonight so a point is a bonus.

     

    Remember we had a makeshift defence tonight.

     

    We will have no reason to sell any of our main stars for at least 2018, given the CL bonus.

     

    What we will need is a replacement for our captain.

     

    We should be able to attract a couple of more midfielders in the next couple of windows to bolster the creative side and supplement / replace the likes of Rogic and Armstrong.

     

    The future is indeed bright.

    Van Dyke`s departure was a killer for me.

     

    I remember his anger about losing the last minute goal to make it 3-2 against some Scandinavian team.

    Panel very confident of Gladbach in 3rd place, which they say was the realistic target all along.

     

    Celtic will win no points their last 2 games they predict.

    Nice call out for the stayinguplate bhoy from Canberras blog. I’ve made a few posts and noticed BMCUW has too. I felt it would be nice, as there are more than a few comments about the EPL,to help the bhoy out.

     

    1.1 a fair result tonight I think, both teams will have a couple of what if moments, discussing the game in the dressing room.

     

    Just viewed the PSG winner, what a goal that was.

     

    Craig Thomson, yes that cheat, makes a brilliant call to overrule the ass ref in the 4th minute of stoppage time for Athleticos winner. I’m stunned.
