Good TIMes ahead under Brendan me thinks so there’ll be plenty adrenaline to come.

Aside from the Celtic angle I thought it was a really good game to watch.Should never forget it’s meant to be entertaining.

It’s always magic being a tim but right now it’s even better than normal.

Hope Friday goes ok for you.

    Take it easy fhella.

    Well done Celtic

Still in with a wee sniff and a point in Germany

I don’t always agree with Brendan’s subs but I love his thinking

  6. Yeah, you could see Callum checking his phone in order to gauge the reaction on CQN as he trotted back into position.

I thought the nonsense of posters complaining that criticism on here of players during Live Updates was adversely affecting their performance had been ridiculed out of existence.

If it’s a poorly struck free kick, poorly delivered corner, a bad miss, should we pretend the opposite?

    They’re no’ logged on!!

  7. Very proud of the team and ALL the players tonight, especially in the second half.

Could and probably should have been three points won instead of two lost.

    Onwards and upwards.

    HH!!

  8. Som mes que un club on

At least we have now lost 23 from 26 away babes.

Sure it hasn’t been repeated for days on end about our poor away record.

Bren swatted the answer aside to this most ludicrous of facts. Seriously, how can he comment on games that even the KoK was playing in!?

So they’ve gone back to ‘fairly decent’ after coming from behind to beat Barça?

A league can be over-hyped, but still contain some very good teams.

    Like Citeh.

  10. BEATBHOY on 1ST NOVEMBER 2016 11:21 PM

Nah; I don’t get your love affair with them. They are a <fairly decent side but not brilliant. Barca are better; Real are better; PSG are better. Possibly Juve as well.

I reckon they will fall in the last 16 or quarter finals. I don’t think any EPL team will go further than that.

Thanks mate. If our team keep playing with the attitude they showed tonight/ this morning we will all be very happy.

  13. Great stuff.

    Well played, the Hoops.

Another 2 or 3 additions of top class and we’ve got a real chance of progression next year.

McGregor – never a Celtic player but the bhoy was a bit unlucky it fell to him. On taregt, we’re in with a shout. Sadly wide, but it shows how close we can push a top side like the A German Team.

    Brilliant stadium. Brilliant atmosphere.

    Respectable Hoops effort.

I try to stay away during the week and have a wee lurk now and again but I thought we played no too bad tonight plenty of good with some parts not so good…. am on leave the morra so to get to the point

Yes, both bosses are sleeping :-)

    Love affair?

    Struggling now, aren’t you?

Just disagree that they’re only ‘fairly decent’ with players like Agüero, Silva and De Bruyne, and Sterling improving under Pep.

They’re capable of brilliant football, as their first 40 minutes at Old Trafford recently showed, but aren’t good enough defensively to be a brilliant team.

Very good was what I said.

They’ll be a much stiffer test for us than Gladbach were tonight.

But I hope we gub them, of course!

Morning all ! What a performance from us.Could have won it and ell ne rendan for going for it with three at the back.

Here is my thoughts from Down Under.

    https://stayinguplateblog.wordpress.com/2016/11/02/hoops-give-scotland-european-pride/

  18. Really looking forward to the next few seasons.

I loved how WgS team had the balls and pragmatism So often missing and Lenny the same with the Celtic grit but despite last 16 it fell short.

BR is showing the the same but a willingness to try to attack, win games at this level, like MON

I think we can do it the next few years. Last 4 UEFA, another final, last 16 CL.

  19. Good evening / soon to be morning CQN.

    Not read back. No need.

Individual performances matter , but in overall context their not defined.

    The team is showing progress.

Think about it. Progress. In a European environment. It’s all that matters.

    Progress. In Brendan we trust.HH

  20. Good to see Craig Gordon back to his best with some great saves on Saturday and to-night. Fine performance played in a packed cauldron of a stadium by the team. Armstrong improved paricularly in the second half and his confidence should be on an upward curve. Dembelle probably added another few million to his value after to-night’s showing but we have to hold onto guys like him and Sinclair. Would have been nice if Leigh Griffiths had been available in those last fifteen minutes, he surely would have scored.

  21. May I also add a small parochial matter.

How many Hun coupons bit the dust tonight with Glasgow Celtic having a statement in Germany ???

    In Brendan we trust.HH

  22. BR does not deserve this …

How can we ask him to make sense of this performance?

We are the better team as things stands at the moment.

They are BL poor man’s Leicester.

One club golfers who got lucky.

However at times we made them look like world beaters.

We were a willing audience to their limited game plan.

It is incredible that we got the result we did with a team of nearly men.

Nearly good enough to grace the jersey — willing but not able.

Good to see we got a result.

Good to see some of the play that was one pass or one piece of luck away from success.

We need a more competitive home league.

No matter the quality we buy in or we develop — there will always be a discount because the league is not competitive enough. Bad habits develop and we get by in the SPL but get punished in the CL, even the EuL.

    Some great play.

Some howlers — we have bought the same bridge off BMG three times.

So now all down to BR to earn his wages and then some.

  23. Dembelle has scored two against Man City, won the peno to-night and another against Barcelona that is a terrifiv record against some of the best teams in the world and probably the best group in the Champions Lge. Some player this youth.

    ******

Indeed, but tonight showed that he is a raw talent with a bit to go to fulfill his aspirations.

Tonight also demonstrated his wisdom of coming to Celtic, as he would not get the opportunity to hone his talent at CL level at any other club.

No one left anything out on the park. Every player gave his all and earned the bonus that tonight’s point will have earned them.

  25. In a change of sport

Cleveland host Chicago in game 6 of the World Series, which they lead 3-2.

Cubs strike with a 2 put home run in the first.
