I don’t like the run-up to home games against Kilmarnock, this was especially so when Gordon Strachan was manager. Someone would always ask Gordon the 1955 question, “Gordon, did you know….” If you don’t know the question, don’t go looking for it. It’s a fact that should ostensibly give you confidence but it only puts me into a nervous disposition. During Gordon’s time, every game felt like a must-win game. The carnage on here after a 2-2 home draw with Dundee United lives long in the memory, so the burden of a reversal at home to Kilmarnock would have been intolerable.
Celtic have an enormously impressive history which can inspire great things in the support but sometimes it’s evidently a burden to those having to go out and win the next game. Jock Stein’s famous, “The Celtic jersey doesn’t shrink to fit inferior players” quote was meant to inspire greatness and awe, but I’ve seen it used to damn contemporary players who were in no way inferior to some who played for Celtic in Jock’s latter years in charge.
Kilmarnock beat Rangers last time out and will feel as though they let two points slip away against us earlier in the season. Celtic should be sufficiently concerned to avoid premature Christmas cheer.

Sorry to hear of your news.
I was a late starter, 49 now started giving blood at the grand old age of 44. Since my first donation I have only missed it twice, once when I had kidney stones and once when I had the flu.
I would encourage anybody that is able to give blood to do so, painless and so uplifting. You only have to do it every 13 weeks.

I think Rogne and Charlie at the back. Wilson is a wee bit shakey for my liking. He seems to panic a wee bit. I know he is young, but still think Mulgrew has been very good when called upon in defence. i only wish he’d practice his free kicks more . keep Victor in Midfield, he is dominant there., with Kayal, Ledley,and Forest or Sammi wide. But with Stokes injured. play sammi up front with Hooperman. hail hail we shall prevail!!

Dificult to know what to say.
My own boy has been seriously ill, to the point of ‘deaths door’ 3 times, including his birth.
It knocks the crap out of you more than you can ever anticipate.
My only words are never to lose hope.
We were told my son would never function, be self sufficient, walk etc. he has achieved way much more than we were led to believe is possible. He has his challenges yes, but he is here, and as far as I can tell is very excited about Christmas.
I wish you well on your journey. Don’t let the wee man see you when your fragile, it doesn’t help. If your positive, he will take this as a lead.
My own experience is I can cope with most things, but find sympathy the most difficult thing to take. Might well say more about me.
Good luck mate. I will give blood at the first opportunity.

Questions like why were the arrested funds not taken by HMRC?
When did Rangers actually appeal and why?
What “evidence” of not having unpaid tax was presented to the SFA as the proof that the rules required that there was no unpaid tax or (stretching the rules) would be paid without further HMRC action?
I think any action can wait until there is some public activity on the late appeal and HMRC’s response to it emerges (assuming of course it will not take another year.
