Is that the time? Many thanks to everyone who submitted questions for the Club to answer at the Forum this evening. CQN submitted six pages of questions along with many other groups, from which an agenda has been prepared (below):
Stadium Atmosphere and Matchday Policy:
What is the current position in respect of the Green Brigade?
Do the Club believe their response to Motherwell was justified and proportionate?
Stewarding at home matches is heavy handed in certain sections of the Stadium e.g. Block 122 and Blocks 110, 111 & 112, is there a reason for this?
The presence of FoCUS at home matches is intimidating and antagonises supporters, is it necessary to have them and if so can they be located in an area which is less intrusive?
Can the Club introduce a code of conduct which all Stewards need to sign up to?
Attending matches is expensive, what are the Club’s plans on ticket pricing?
Safe Standing has been regularly discussed, what is the current position?
The Coach Park has been relocated to an area which is unsuitable for the majority of fans who use it, what is the longer term plan?
The Kerrydale Bar has been a welcome addition to matchday are there plans for another?
What are the Club’s thoughts on the current location of the Family Section?
Stadium Catering has long since been considered over-priced and sub-standard, what is the current position in terms of offering an improved service?
Many fans feel their support is taken for granted, would the Club consider adding value by recognising long-term support for 5, 10, 15 years’ Season Ticket purchase by offering upgrades to Premium or Corporate for a day?
With so many empty seats on match day at present can the Club not allocate these to good causes, school and youth groups and community projects?
PR & Communication:
There is a perception that the Club are quick to criticise our fans but slow to praise them, what’s the Club’s view?
Why is the Club not more vocal when our Manager, Players and Fans are attacked in the media?
The Club is seen to be slow to react to key issues through the media, why is this?
The Club has stated its opposition to the OBTC Act but there is a sense that it has to do more in support of the fans who are affected by this, will the Club take a more vocal position?
Is this meeting a recognition from the Club that a gap exists between the Club and the fans?
The Club are often considered to be on the back foot in terms of PR, is there recognition of this from within and is there a plan to drive the PR strategy by producing more positive stories?
Would the Club consider the introduction of a weekly phone-in show to combat existing shows which often provide misinformation or unrealistic comparisons from unqualified sources?
Supporter Specific Issues:
Given the level of demand which exists, would the Club consider adding to to the excellent new disabled supporters’ facility or creating something similar in another part of the stadium?
Fixture re-scheduling at short notice is costing supporters money and ultimately driving fans away, can the Club seek an agreement with all other Clubs that a minimum notice period is put in place?
Would the Club consider a floating credits scheme for fans outside Scotland to mitigate losses when matches are rescheduled?
Murrayfield – what is the plan relative to transportation and kick-off times, also Edinburgh cannot be accessed in a 24-hr trip by Irish supporters, can this be reflected in their Season Ticket offering?
At present away, neutral and European match ticket allocations are based on attendance of matches at each of the defined categories. Would the Club consider a scheme where all matches are taken into account including attendance at home matches as this would encourage more fans to attend home games?
For European match ticket allocation there is no stated policy at present, this leads to confusion as fans don’t always know when they will receive an offer or if it’s first come first served, this needs to be made clear by way of a stated policy which allows for clarity and gives supporters a defined process.

I can understand their anger. It was Chelsea fans that caused mayhem and rioted!
Ask anyone in the Scottish press. They’ll confirm it:-)
I avoid the Independence debate on my philosophical grounds that true independence is an illusion.
However in observing the cut and thrust of debate one of the reasons for a yes vote is to escape Tory rule.
Now as a someone with socialist leanings I can well understand that sentiment, but apart from the fact that I have lived under both Labour and Tory UK governments all my life, so escape from Tories need not need independence, how does abandoning our socialist leaning brothers in England to almost certain perpetual Tory rule sit with our socialist conscience?
“Sod you I’m all right Jack” always struck me as something you would hear from someone with capitalist/ right wing leanings.
Just wondering. :)
Ernie
Your like a record stuck in the needle. You think the constant mention of SNP will turn off potential voters on InDependence. You well know independence is not only about SNP.
On a lighter note when I was working in Sutton I went to a Celtic pub in
Croydon: that was about 8/9 years ago. I can’t remember whether it was West or East Croydon, and then a walk through a long street, but always a great night.

He hasn’t left the scotland set up, he will still keep his post with the kids, but is going to restrict his hours.
Still, I agree, strange.

Quick question on that last statement.
When was the last time the votes in Scotland affected a Labour majority at Westminster?

It is really difficult to get them that protest against independence to actually to give their reasons.
Some may say impossible

You should remember that CQN is a football blog populated by Celtic supporters – apart from those on your list. When you come on to a football blog you should expect to find a number of differing views and some of these views to be expressed in a very robust way. A lot of people have a go at you on here, Tony, not just some posters who are teachers. You have belittled and been sarcastic towards the architects of Resolution 12 and the CST. You have heavily criticised Jeanette Findlay and the GB. Despite the reasonable points that many posters have made in explaining their stance you tend to reiterate the same mantra over and over again. Peter Lawell, the Board = good. The GB, CST, JF, Resolution 12 = bad. You never really explain the reasons why you have such overwhelming confidence in the infallibility of PL and the Board. Did you have the same confidence in the Kellys and Whytes? After all they were the Celtic Board at one time.
Why would someone want to wear a rangers scarf to a Chelsea match…..sounds embarrassing…….my nephew being a Chelsea fan along with his mates asked them to Stamford bridge as they were not welcome……..scum trying to attach themselves to the fans of other clubs……exposing their vile hatred
Billybhoy05
No reply?
To leave Stamford bridge………….
TET
Heard he’s out of it all. Will try and find out MORE 2 morro!!
You are the Pursuer Billy Bhoy05. I’ve established you think yourself a worthy Yes campaign rep. I’m voting no. Your job is to try and persuade me to vote yes. You tell me why? I don’t have to justify my vote to you but you, when you are pushing your views onto others in a campaign have to. Do you understand this yet? You don’t like the points I’ve already made, you want to argue those you’ve practised. I couldn’t give a france what you think on this, perhaps others who base their argument beyond “things that happen to their close family” Do you understand? You should expect scrutiny and testing of your views.
eddieinkirkmichael
Please read above. What I say doesn’t make a difference to how people vote. You both seem to think you will. The blog usually gives a decent indication on a person’s impact by their posts. I would think people will pursue their own info regarding the vote.
IF I had a vote, I would on the balance of things vote yes.
But if I was in doubt, after reading what the nats on here are posting, I would vote no.
And I can still influence my weans who do have a vote.
Just saying like >}

Totally agree. They should also address the adoption scandal in Ireland and other places around the world.

The CQNers voting for the dream team decide. The team selection is based on the most votes for each position.
No secret panels or square balls in this game. :-)

Some points that some would consider relevant, however if we extrapolated your reasoning the whole world would have one government. Some fholk would quite rightly consider that scenario utopian, and I wouldn’t argue on that one
With TETs intelligent words I bid you all good night HH
ps TET what you on tomorrow’s games? Some good value on Europa games I saw earlier;-)
The Vermin v Albion Rovers live on Sky,obviously tie of the round………….good cash for the Rovers though.

It was interesting in that all the Celtic staff in positions of responsibility were there from PL down and that lent itself to some useful exchanges on matters within their area of responsibity.
It was’nt support faces the suits (although I was in my denims and the Celtic guys were in suits) but the exchanges were between folk, who all had the best interest of Celtic at heart and were working to that end as they saw it within constraints that I thought it useful to hear expressed.
Celtic’s answers to the questions were provided then discussed at the meeting and will be made public once input from the meeting is digested, so given the range and sometimes complexity it is best to wait for that to be published and see the response.
One thing it did tell me personally was that The Serenity Communication prayer I posted about what can be changed, what cannot, where the power to do so lies and were some things need to be tholed and having the wisdom to discern one from the other, if recognised widely, would help relationships all round.
But then again I would say that.

You have that completely wrong. Try bullying
Change of subject from me
Something that was said earlier re TD. My Da actually hated the Whites & Kellys and after just about every game he gave them pelters. Of course in those days in the early sixties there was not a lot of success.
However I was too young to work out what he was on about.
Billy Bhoy 05
You have this tendency to start a debate then when the going gets tough…….bolt.
Now earlier in your political posturing you made some inaccurate (and I’m being kind with that descriptor) statements.
Just in case you missed the 3-4 posts highlighting your inaccuracies I’ve re-posted my last remark below.

Big cup winners
Young Celtic fans weeping because of The Act.
Why?
My four children are not in least bothered with it.
This is The Act that has made it a criminal act to sing, ‘Up to your knees in Fenian blood’ and ‘FTP’
Possibly first attempt ever to rid us of Scotland’s Shame
It didn’t make sing, ‘Up to your knees in Fenian blood’ and ‘FTP’ illegal in the streets. Strange that wouldn’t you agree ?
But you know these chants were already covered by existing laws weren’t they ?
A simple “yes” from you will do.
Christine Grahame reveals the real targets of her offensive laws. We have all seen the public record of her revelations.
God forbid that the boys in blue get offended at one of your kids singing at Celtic park. But ignoring that for the moment, are you implying that the Tims arrested are doing something wrong ?
Please answer…..
Billybhoy05
Indeed. Paradise regained.
Why not extrapolate an atonement (as in at one ment ) vista as much as a separatist one?

………………………………………………..
It amazes me that you cite bullying as a factor in some posters having left the blog. Of course you may be right but I think you should look at some of your earlier posts on the indyref. You appear to have moderated your tone a bit since then but your early stuff was fairly aggressive. You are still demanding that people who challenge you make their views known. As someone has pointed out there is no need for anyone to do that. You have come on to the blog and consistently promote your views on a Yes vote. With the greatest of respect, we don’t have to agree with you.
Jude
I think you are right. Man U would not mind paying big dough for him. The money and the prestige for him anyway I guess would be perfect. He’s gone.
In case you missed it.
