CELTIC PREMIERSHIP SWITCH

CELTIC’S Premiership match against St Mirren at Parkhead which was scheduled for Saturday January 14 2023 has been switched to Wednesday the 18th.

The game will now kick off at 7.45pm. The reason for the fixture being pushed back four days is to accommodate the holders’ Viaplay League Cup semi-final against Kilmarnock.

X-CERTIFICATE…Joe Hart is beaten  as Mark O’Hara scores the first of St Mirren’s two goals in Paisley.

The last-four of the competition is scheduled for the same day as the Saints’ visit with Ange Postecoglou’s outfit meeting the Ayrshire club at Hampden on Saturday with a 5.30pm start.

Both clubs confirmed the change of date this afternoon.

The champions will be looking to make up for their first slip in the league this season when they slumped to a 2-0 loss in Paisley in September. It was an uncharacteristic display from Postecoglou’s side who failed to spark in a dismal showing.
