CELTIC will be without three top stars as they prepare for the Premiership restart against Ross County in Dingwall on Sunday.

Ange Postecoglou has revealed Anthony Ralston and Liel Abada will miss “a couple of weeks” while James Forrest, who sat out the games against Hearts and Hibs before the international break, is still struggling with an injury problem.

There are also concerns over Reo Hatate and his fellow-midfielders Aaron Mooy and Tomoki Iwata.

CONCERNS…Aaron Mooy is an injury doubt for Celtic.

Postecoglou delivered an update on the fitness of his players when he admitted: “Ralston and Abada picked up some injuries in camp, so will probably miss a couple of weeks. We will see how they develop.

“James Forrest is still out for a little bit of time. The other two are Aaron Mooy and Tomoki Iwata, who have stayed with us and they are touch and go for the weekend.

“However, we don’t see them being too far away.”

The Hoops boss also spoke about the headbutt from Ibrox coach Craig McPherson on Celtic women’s boss Fran Alonso following the 1-1 draw between the sides at Broadwood during the week, as CQN reported.

Postecoglou, speaking to Sky Sports, added: “Look, I think it speaks for itself and the important thing is now that it is in the hands of the people it should be in the hands of.

IBROX NUTTER…rival coach Craig McPherson headbutts Celtic Women’s boss Fran Alonso.

“They will investigate it properly and get all sides of the story and deal with it appropriately.

“For us, as a football club, we need to comply with the investigation, do everything we need to do and let the rest take care of itself.”

The champions will take on Malky Mackay’s side in the Highlands for the third time this season and are looking to maintain their 100 per cent record.

They won 3-1 in the Premiership and 4-1 in the League Cup and will be looking for three more points in their quest for a second successive title.
