    Cant add much more to what already has been said about Lisbon except to say it was 10 times better than expected it was all these things, moving, fun & laughter all the way & watching us winning the Cup was overwhelming to be quite honest

     

     

    I have Just arrived home from Lisbon & my trip home was via train from liverpool to Manchester airport for a late flight to Glasgow. So I expected to be home much later tonight. But 2 of CQNs finest couples Mr & Mrs Cowiebhoy who were generous to a fault would have none of it & drove me from Liverpool straight to my home in Johnstone for which I cant thank them enough

     

     

    Though my directions were a little off as I took them via Gourock,Greenock Bishopton Inchinnan Paisley . Sorry about that little detour N & H my humble apologies though personally speaking I think it was your sat nav :))

    If anyone wants an example of what it means to play for your bhoyhood heroes just look at KT at the trophy presentation – a bhoy possessed. Yes he will at some stage leave us but his heart will remain.

    Kieran is well remunerated for such a young age, a very decent five figures (& worth every penny) the only way KT leaves if Celtic want to cash in, the money is very much secondary, by the way obviously KT still hands his dig money in, and obviously crazy money sets up all the family but I think KT’s dad is trying to talk Paddy into signing because he knows his Bhoy is going nowhere, under Brendan, I think any player that leaves will be the players decision, if Brendan wants them to stay I think the club will back Brendan, changed days but that’s what a great manager brings

     

     

    By the way Chris Davies, brilliant, but remember Brendan picked his own back room staff Ronny didn’t……

    Was just thinking on the interview with Chris Sutton and Brendan when Brendan siad that what if a player was offered 80-100K a week, he had no chance of keeping them, the mind boggles at that sort of money.

     

    It would take someone on the minimum wage ten years to earn what some of these wasters earn in a week FFS.

    KT on 20k p/w? – an absolute steal imho. Problem we have is Kieran, if he wished, could be earning 3 – 4 times that in the EPL. We are blessed that he was ‘ Born into Celtic’ :-)

    KT is on what we can pay him. He will move on because he is a superstar, even if we paid him 100k a week it wouldn’t be enough when the spoiled rich clubs come calling. He is Barca or Real bound at some point

    When I watched Keiran’s emotion when he lifted the Cup I realised it would, perhaps, take more money than there is for him to give up playing for Celtic.

     

     

    He will be a wealthy individual when his career is over, a millionaire. Of course he could earn more, but will he ever want to.

     

     

    His commercial value to the club will be huge, he is us, I’ll buy that in spades, and so will you, so with ten of thousands of Tims.

     

     

    I’m not making a prediction, just adding my own speculation.

     

    A modern day Paul McStay, we should be so lucky to see his likes again, but I think we might.

    Yesterday I was seated two rows from the back of the east stand . I can vouch for the noise during the minutes silence came from a group of latecomers , a guy standing at the entrance to the stadium hushed them up . Which they duly did . But no surprise dirty tricks from Celtics detractors . With regards to the piece in the sheeps fan forum , surely no one is surprised at that , they hate us , they have many billy boys in there ranks .

    Kieran just loves playing football, I think BR has enjoyed the fact so many of the young team want to listen and learn, and even the old Bhoys like Broony :-)

     

     

    Even though a friendly, my first game at Celtic park for too many years, the first time in the old Cellic end since it got seats (my ST was in 109) it was a marvellous day, Brendan & the bhoys (Griff, Paddy & Kieran) came out before the teams to show the fans the trophies, a wee lump in my throat, it’s never about the winning but it’s great when we do, the BBC documentary, the Sean Fallon programme, Henrik, the holy goalie, Neil Lennon….. Lisbon sounded amazing, the Hydro by all accounts outstanding, but Miss GFTB being at today’s game I can easily say this has been mother best Celtic week of my life

     

     

    Fellow Celtic fans good night and God bless, for any Cqner or family going through hard times there is always a wee prayer said, again P67 thanks for this place it’s a wee godsend
