Are you suggesting clubs should not be in top league based on playing merit over fan base and commercial possibilities.

Congratulations to Hamilton on staying up. A well run community club. Over a Dundee Utd who are reported to be closing in on Administration.

Yeah we’d all prefer a Utd with their miserly 5 to 10k fan base and grass park.

They had their chance and blew it.

    Tuff.

As for Ross County. What has the Dingwallians done to annoy you?

  2. Great day out today, once again celebrating Celtic past and present.

Nice to see another Henrick Hatrick and a Lubo goal.

Celtic and her supporters truly are a special club.

    Truly special.

I thank my lucky stars I was born into this.

My first Celtic scarf (the Donegal shawl was my second) was one my Mammy’s Mammy knitted me. I wish I still had it for sentimental reasons although it made my neck itch like it was knitted from barbed wire!

Is there ANY truth in any of the accusations made in this comment lifted from an Aberdeen Fans Forum? :

“Well said. I’d add mindless minority spoiling the silence from the tim end, why guys? Brown & Rodgers absolutely zero class. Rodgers not so subtle digs at our club is pathetic. I would be very interested in seeing this messiah manage Aberdeen or even the Hun with limited finance. What was Brown playing at after the final whistle. Would you rather not celebrate with teammates rather than goad opposition fans. Lastly, the middle aged dicks in the hospitality box above the William Hill lower south stand, imbeciles. Deserved a good slap and hopefully it was duly dealt out when the opportunity arose. Pricks.”

Used to quite like the Dons and their support.

Recently they seem to be going out their way to act like neds.

Yesterday I was ticketless and took up a berth at the off ramps of the motorway in the hope that I’d be lucky.

A fair number of their supporters coaches passed. Like dervishes, Tasmanian devils, for the most part.

Now I know we have cretins in our own support, most clubs do. But in the Dons support that I witnessed yesterday it was a large minority.

Shame, the game is there to be enjoyed. The boorish behaviour stifles the game’s appeal.

    Lisboa Diary Day 5

The last day proved to be a belter…I managed to shrug off a monumental hangover n go for lunch with a few CQNers which mostly consisted of drink!

We dandered up to CR7 Ronaldo’s hotel bar/restaurant. What a welcome! After a wee chat to the manager he allowed me thru the back to wire up my phone to the sound system. So Celtic songs n the Rebs were belting out. We listened to the Portuguese commentators and they made more sense than any on sky. What a feeling when the goal went in and what a noise! The manager took a photo of us all and sent it to Ronaldo..I went to get the waiter to bring up another round of drinks and he then told me Cristiano had paid for them.

Great to see Billy make it for the game he ordered a burger with a fried egg n chips! Was good to see him on the fruit n muesli.

We partied there for a while and then headed to an Italian canny remember what I had but we started singing in there and staff loved it. In til closing and then a wine bar on the way home where one of our number had a wee tumble off his stool.

Staggered back to the hotel where as residents we asked for the bar to be opened!

Canny remember what time I went to bed but was as rough as toast this morning.

I asked BRTH to organise a spa day for us all…I’m home n totally fecked.

What a trip and great that we are Trincibles…best ever Celtic away trip n there wisnae even a game.

    Tremendous with fabulous people.

  11. Just watched Sean Fallon: the Iron Man. Could that mhan spot talent!! To think he is responsible for bringing Kenny Dalglish, Danny McGrain, George Connelly, Davie Hay, Vic Davidson and Lou Macari to Celtic. 3 World Class, one not too far from it and the other no too bad either. They should have been legends.

Thank you, Sean Fallon. Of course, you were much much more than a talent spotter. You have Celtic in your heart and soul like us supporters.

  12. What a wonderful week!

    What a fabulous weekend!

  14. My friends in Celtic,

What a week its been to be a Celtic supporter ( even for one who has missed all the celebrations )

Personally Celtic have been an inspiration to myself over this last week since the tragic events at Manchester. They have been the shining light that has lifted my spirits.

Thank you again Celtic, truly much, much more than just a club.

    Hail, Hail.

Having watched it again, I’m in no doubt Stockley deliberately done Tierney. Who knows if Aberdeen were savvy enough to realise we had no left back on the bench. As Brendan alluded to, Stockley done Tierney up in Aberdeen a couple of weeks ago as well. And he had the perfect referee in Madden who allows all kinds of assaults. Funnily enough Stockley’s elbows didn’t go unnoticed at Ibrokes recently when he was sent off. At the end of the day Kieran delivered the GIFUY as he lifted the trophy.

I’VEHADTOCHANGEMYNAME:always reading back but your wee angel in our thoughts pal

  20. If anyone wants an example of what it means to play for your bhoyhood heroes just look at KT at the trophy presentation – a bhoy possessed. Yes he will at some stage leave us but his heart will remain.

  21. Stockley only played cos he is a wrecking ball, their manager knew it and the ref knew and they all did their job

  22. A special mention to the bloke with the Celtic scarf dancing behind the podium during the trophy presentation. Had me in stitches when I watched it this morning. Hh

  23. !!Bada Bing!! on

McInnes has targeted KT,last couple of games, it backfired as Stockley playing in front of Rooney was a major mistake.

  24. For the Sheep – You have been THUNDERSTRUCK (and some right horrible eejits there are amongst the sheep support – just having read one of them calling wee Jay something despicable )

  27. Picked Mrs TET up from an Aberdeen flight today, while waiting for her I got a few verbals from a couple of would be hardmen, it was the Celtic top obviously, tossers, then Mrs pointed them out as they were winkers on the flight, they were waiting for some rep, so the bold TET confronts them, wimps, couldn’t apologise enough.

  28. Sorry, I don’t know who was arguing earlier, but it was along the lines of, are Aberdeen Huns etc? Just currently watching highlights of the game and when Armstrong equalises there is a picture of the goal from behind Stuart – it shows that there is a flag in the Aberdeen end that says EAST (and something below that – possibly Belfast??????????????) and to the left of EAST is an Aberdeen crest, and to the right of EAST there is an ‘Ulster’ emblem. I am suprised and a bit saddened but hey oh ten in a row!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
