The police take that approach to practically every demonstration now. We are in the orwellian big brother state.
Add to that strathclydes finest antipathy to all things Celtic and you get that nonsense today…….
People need to get out on the streets more to face this down.

In a strange way the season needed a game like today. It was great to see the unbridled joy of the players when the winner went in, these are the guys “who don’t care”. Yes we have deficiencies and some guys who I thought were the answer to my prayers suddenly don’t seem to be very clever. However any analysis should be fair and balanced, apart from dramatic comeback we must have created about 10 goal scoring chances throughout the game and 2 of the Aberdeen goals were dodgy to say the least.
Got home after a fast exit into the freezing cold Glasgow drizzle,
it’s still difficult to focus football on a day when the Paradise Windfall Winner
was A 3041, and ole lucky pants me, was A 3040.
A miss is a good as a mile as my ole mother used to say, and thank
the Lord for Samaras on a bizarre day at Celtic Park that began in 12 seconds
with Commons finely taken goal. We then suffered from the continued schoolboy
defending malaise, that’s been evident in SPL games and won’t go away I fear without wielding a chequebook.
To be honest Aberdeen’s defence was also dreadful and if we’d had strikers in the first half the game would have been put to bed, and to say we’re missing are Brown and Wanyama is an understatement because Kayal with Ledley assisted with Mulgrew, doesn’t do it.
The game quite simply swung to Celtic, and changed forever with the introduction of Samaras, who stretched the hapless Aberdeen back line, right till the end and his goal was better the 15k the lucky barsteward one behind me in the queue pocketed.

just in from match.. Nerves shredded.. A 4-3 last gasp win should not feel this exhausting but it does…
We dug ourselves out of our own apathetic and calamitous hole by playing the last 15 mins as we should have played every 90 mins of every game..
Sami seemed to have a telescopic leg for his goal and nice to see him wearing a wee white vest ..
Seriously, a tiring match . We created all our own problems..
BUT fair play Bhoys for bringing it back, raising the atmosphere..
Had to listen to Snyde on way home and heard them letting John a deluded Sevconian demand apologies for oldco being branded bigots and for LNS finding them ” not guilty”.
Not one panellist pointed out a sectarian signing policy over 100yrs and LNS finding them GUILTY on all counts..
Its happening because Salmond,Christine Grahame and House of the police are trying to level up numbers that clearly show The attacks and offences against Catholics in this country are an embarassment,
Deliberate legislation to target us Drawn up by Grahame implemented by House and sanctioned by what can we do for OLDCO Salmond.
Anyone who thinks this would not spiral out of control under Salmond in an an independent Scotland,Is IMHO refusing to look at the facts

Plenty of tri-colours on show but not one feels the need to to regale us with songs of struggle and rebellion
Great end to the game today after some poor defending. I enjoyed it.
Sorry to Doc and Vmhan et al at not meeting up. Was waiting for amate of mine that I have not seen for25years to go to the game with.

It was Kayal that Sammi came on for, Lassad came on for Stokes and was abysmal. Stokes should have stayed on but Hooper is untouchable in the manager’s eyes even when he isn’t trying a leg like the majority of the game today.

Wot that man said.
Stokes is Lenny’s whipping boy and Hooper can do no wrong even when he does nothing right.

Did not see game today, therefore, unwilling to pass comment on performance, guess the result, and the way the game played out, will give us comfort, would like to thank the posters who kept us updated, although,in amongst all those excellent contributions, could not help laughing at the two posts from the ever changing kojo,16.21″,Sammi is not the answer
‘,compare and contrast,16.53,”ah love you Sammi”,yep, same guy,the next time anyone thinks of taking this guy seriously, just recall those two posts.
just in from the game, bloody miserable weather by the way.
we started well and no doubt thot a barrel load was coming but had to endure some real p**h
last 20mins was fantastic relentless celtic pressure, well done the bhoys and fans we roared ourselves to that win…………good on ye sammi bhoy!

Great comeback today. Tremendous leonic performance from Sammi, for so long a target of the boo bhoys and now our biggest-hearted and most improved player.
Worrying that the team’s focus seems to be so wayward, however. Think Neil needs to be careful of this. We need to adopt a ruthless mentality, especially at home.
The Rangers. Caught some of their game earlier. Oooft! How bad are they? Where are all their “promising youngsters?” Truly diabolical stuff. I really, really, hope Sally stays in post. He is hopeless.
The Police. The scenes today surrounding the GB are an affront to democratic Scotland. The club needs to do something about this because it is clear that our cub and our supporters are being targeted by a police force given free reign by its political masters to target the taigs…
I see the LibDems have suggested that Shetland declare UDI from Salmondland! (and take the oil with them!). If the worst happens in 2014, I might consider emigrating…

Matbe we look to far into things. Yes players should treet every game with the same eagerness, but when you are so far in fron in a 1 horse race you need to find additional impetuious.Perhaps we need to go behind in order to rouse our players. I know that this is not ideal but a 4-3 win at Parkhead comming from a 2 goal defecit is the stuff of dreams. Lets enjoy

as for the antics of the police, enough is enough surely. perhaps now some people might see this bill and the actions of the police as the utter lunacy we all predicted.
Why would it get any better?? There’s no logical reason for it to get better or to stop, the legislation will still be in place, I have to be honest after LNS and today’s police performance I have to wonder to what lengths the establishment will go to to hinder our club and it’s supporters..

Hard to avoid I know but sometimes it is better not to reach too many conclusions until the final whistle. If reading back on here, was representative of the Celtic support, then half were looking for a new team to support. No more Celtic for a couple of weeks, and for once the International break may be timely, chance for injuries to heal and for us to focus on the end game. Brilliant try for Wales by the way!

Clever downward header from Lassad at the back post for Sammi, his wonders to perform.
Lustig clearly not match fit, hence the lack of attacking play down the right.
I think that Kayal is criticised unfairly on here at times.
If he has a fault, I think it is because he tries too hard, doing other people’s jobs.
