SSB is part of a dying sports media in Scotland.
It’s a scandalously bad production, but it is hardly alone. With the exception of Jim Spence, Stuart Cosgrove, and possibly Glen Gibbons, there is not a journalist or broadcaster with an ounce of integrity or talent in the this country.
Most are either senile weirdos (Keevins) or out and out neds (Jackson, Guidi et al).

At Old Trafford just now, league more or less won,but every seat occupied.
Plenty of tri-colours on show but not one feels the need to to regale us with songs of struggle and rebellion
Refreshing
Good that you find it refreshing.
My last experience of Maunure supporters was at Celtic park in the CL and hundreds of their refreshing fans chanting FTP and the IRA.
I prefer songs of struggle and rebellion to bigoted clowns.

Agree, but a journo can only be as good as his paymaster allows him to be.
The fact that editors/owners accept and publish the bilge that is being churned out,would signify that they want their staff to follow a particular agenda.
Even Gibbons, who I consider the best of the print journos, has to at times modify his copy, in order to appease the demographic sensitivities of a declining readership.
Since the age of the internet it is possible for mein engerland to listen to clyde and shortbread phone ins- possible but not compulsory so I continue to give them the deaf ear

Roberttressel @17.59…I have to agree with you. Celtic fans must face up to this intimidation by police. Action must be taken. I may not be the greatest fan of the GB but in this case that is less important than what I perceive to be outrageous harassment and intimidation by an overly agressive police force who obviously are carrying out instructions from government…the club will not be able to carry on with hands covering eyes and fingers in ears for much longer…we all became Neil Lennon when he was being attacked and perhaps now we should all start thinking about defending the GB…we all have surely got a good idea of what is happening in this country and the manipulation that is going on. I, for one, am prepared to stand up to these people but we need to do it in numbers…

Just back from game said to my mate with 10 mins to go we had time to score 3 slight tongue in cheek but did feel we could go on and win.
Noticed that mob were out practicing wae their union jacks and toy soldier outfits on in Renfrew with no where near the police presence that the green brigade got….no surprise there.
Evening all.
Was working today so not at game. Sneaked a looked at Beeb at 16.20 and saw we were 3-1 down. As I sat with head in hands for next 40 mins lying that I was just a bit tired to those who expressed concern. Thought to self I am not going to read CQN and just go home to bed. Pathetic behaviour for a 51 year old man
Now sipping an agreeable Primitivo watching Wales romping to victory. 17.00 as shift ended I was doing a touch of the Ooh Ahs and my colleagues looked puzzled.
