A cracking game and if we hadn’t scored the late brace, I’d still have said the same thing, People talk about doing without Sevco and having a competitive League, then when a team comes and is able to compete against us they are furious. I thought goal apart Derk improved us when he came on. Is he another Sammi, infuriating at times brilliant at other times.

  4. glendalystonsils on

“Hearts are broken everywhere” says the fud on Shortie when second goal went in.

    Aye, especially in the studio.

  5. Well done Derk and the Bhoys, the ref very reluctanly put his hand up for the 2cnd goal.

Come on now Celtic kick on from here.

KTF Celtic 1 AC Milan 0

  6. The importance of that Forster save becomes all the greater after that.

    We still lack something though.

  7. Derk played on the left, still not enough Celtic players getting into the box though so difficult for the winger and full back to get any joy when swinging in the crosses

    glendalystonsils,

That commentator nearly had a cardiac when McGinn hit the post, then you could hear his seething anger when we scored.Shocking.

  9. to be fair liam mcleod he is a dons fan and has admitted to this, sure he will be sick,

professional does not need to be in scotland against celtic.

That’s why we never leave Parkhead early..

    Ha,

SSB & Shortie rewriting tonight’s script while the printed media will be devoid of a negative focus…

    Q story about Adam..

  11. Arsenal go 2 nil up, penalty given against defender for pulling Arsenal top.

Reply shows Arsenal top being pulled, in background Southampton top being pulled, whats a ref to do.

  12. Off to bed happy, if I get up in the morning I’ll still have a big grin and a baldy napper!!

    Hail Hail

  13. I really don’t know why you guys listen to Radio Hunland.

You know what you are getting, a biased one sided commentary.

At least on CQN we are balanced.

    Happy clappers and mine shafters.

Throw away the crystal sets lads and tune in to CQN on this new fangled interwebby thing.

  14. Tricoloured Ribbon on

Thanks lads.Glad to hear that.He has to be played in his natural position. This nonsense of putting him on the right has to be binned.

  15. Appreciate the updates……… Better than anything else out there with regard(s) to up to the minute info……….. Stars of CQN… Thank you…………

    ‘mon the Hoops……….

    Regards & Hail Hail

  16. Just in to say….

    Thank you Cellic

Thank you Cellic fans – Green Brigade – my MOTM every time

Nae luck Aberdeen – my favorite second team

Neil – something that you shoud be aware of…..last week on shortbread, Jim Spence was apparently talking about – a chat – that he had with some prominent Celtic directors and they were – ‘banging a loud drum’ for – Jackie MacNamara’s managerial talents !!!!

    Kitalba – Hi :)))

Anyway – Hail Hail – take care Tims – Off oot.

  17. thomthethim for Oscar OK on

Full marks to the boys for going to the final whistle and beyond.

Was quite happy to settle for ” one of those days” points.

We played well, against a team with five centre halfs, who made it very difficult

Credit to Aberdeen for having a game plan that did not involve being in our faces.

Pleased for Derk and against teams who don’t pack their defence, wherever that is, Pukki will do a job for us.

FF redeemed himself from his early half time break, when he was half way up the tunnel when Aberdeen score, with that save from Mc.Ginn.

All in all, I enjoyed the game.

  18. Thanks for the updates Bhoys, couldn’t get a stream, hope I have better luck on Tuesday.

    HH

  19. Derk’s introduction completely changed Celtic’s momentum and we were far more positive and much more mobile. I hope he plays on Tuesday.

It’s 3am and I’m off to bed a happy man. Up at 7am to go to the Ashes. An Aussie victory would round off my weekend nicely.

    Good night and hail hail.

  20. corkcelt- SUPPORTING THE DAM 5 on

That was entertaining and what we need at Celtic Park is Entertainment. Anyone who went today will want to go again. Last year this could have been a draw or a defeat but this year there is a different mindset. Getting late winners and playing for 93mins is a sign of a great team. I couldn’t be happier even if we had won 9 nil.

  21. I think you’re being unfair on Liam Macleod’s commentary. His commentary in our Champion League matches had been excellent and he has shown nothing but support and tremendous enthusiasm for Celtic in these games. His commentary against Barcelona last year and Karagandy this year was spine tinglingly good. A neutral, which I believe he is, is much more likely to enthuse for the “underdog” than the favourite. I have no problem with that whatsoever. Any way the result is all that matters. Well done Celtic.
