Absolutely gutted but I refuse to blame Lenny or the team. This place will not be a nice place tonight, now we will know who are faithful through and through.
A truly humiliating result. A parting of the ways between NL + Celtic must be made this summer. His time as Celtic manager is over. The team are going nowhere under him.
Our midfield struggled the whole day and we brought on three strikers???

Dont even get me started on that. From the team selection,to the woeful performance of those picked, shocking.Aberdeen wanted this a lot more than us.Outfought us everywhere on the park.
As I said,Lennys team selection is bewildering. His record now in cups is fractionally better than fat boys.
Sickened.

Too many Celtic players off form today. Only Virgil and James good enough.
Sorry Lenny, but you must take a lot of the responsibility for that performance. Your selections and your tactics were abysmal. Good luck to Aberdeen, they were the better team.

Well played Aberdeen – they were up for it and their manager got the tactics right

Well done to Barry Robson. He knows how to get the very best out of his dwindling resources. He did a job on us today, ending our season in a way.

FT – What a huge disappointment. We never played well. Fair play to Aberdeen who got what they came for. Poor team selection from the start from Lenny. Fisher and Pukki have both been doing well and yet don’t get to feature in the biggest game remaining in our season. Playing Sammi was a ridiculous decision.
Pass marks to Virgil and James

No Celtic v Sevco again.
Oh no, what will they write about now.
Congratulations to Aberdeen….hope you get a diddy 3rd tier team at home in the Quarter Final.
There is no disputing it,,,the best team won. And rather easy at that,,we only had two shoots on goal in 74mins,,,,home team, dire from coaches and layer,,,,Is there another tier we can close off.

lennys time is up imo,hes taking us as far as he can,,his cup record is a joke,,and I think its time our captain was moved on,,how much has this guy cost us in wages and for what?
Griffiths looked lively and will give us some threat going forward.
Balde has great control, can hold the ball up and find a pass.
Wish they had been on for longer today

Aye, sack the board, sack Lennon, sack 90 percent of the playing staff, sack the bloody tea-lady.
We’re Celtic supporters, faithful through and through.

Robson had the nous.
Flood had the legs, as did pretty much every Aberdeen midfielder and attacker.
They nullified us. And won the midfield. Fair play. Worthy winners.
Feeling pretty flat to say the least.

Midfield got bossed by Barry and Flood. Brown booking meant he was out of the game after 30 mins….we could be playing till 10 tonight and still not score. Season is over in a funny kind of way…no Parkhead in the sun..

we lost the midfield to an old man Robson with bad knees, never at any time did we look like coming back there, two wingers again the tactic with two attacking full backs how many times has this failed , Samaras goodbye

Bad decision to take off Sammi when Commons was so ineffective. Even with the Blade substitution, Neil kept faith with Kris when he had done precious little.
Forrest improved 2nd half, but not enough.
Griffiths looked like a rabbit in the headlights. Dreadful.

Realism on our inadequate coaching staff needed.
Winning a one horse race is not a sign of brilliance.
Dismal cup performances during Neil’s tenure need to be questioned.
One good run in over seasons in Europe is not proof of coaching genius.
To many games we are tactically inept.
The Celtic fans had reservations about today’s chosen side based on past performances.

Oh well, at least we cannot play Sevco this season.
What a consolation prize.!
A wretched and pathetic season in my view.
Morton, Aberdeen both at home.
An unbeaten run against no mark clubs and our worst ever showing in the Champions league.
Boring football most weeks and if you criticize Neil Lennon, the board or anyone else you are a Zombie.
Well what exactly are we paying to watch between now and the end of the season?
How many people are going to turn up and watch the rest of the games from now on?
Is anyone honestly interested in an unbeaten season?
So many flops, so many players poor today on the most important game of the season.
We are forever told we have the best squad in the league and no one can live with us, well guess again. We still have major problems and in my view the manager needs to have a bloody good look at himself and his selection policy.
The same players play constantly and even when they won’t sign contracts they play. Young players go off on loan doubtless never to be seen again and we waste time signing players who have made and will make no impact on the team.
But we’ve got money in the bank and crowds falling through the floor. Of all people to be right Kev Jungle was.
Now what are you all going to say if Sevco win this cup?

Sammi has done the sum total of zero for quite a while. Why he wasn’t punted in the window is a good question. Why he was a starter today is an unanswerable question.
Team selection recently has been very poor.

Those two positions are not mutually exclusive.
One might argue that occasionally the second requires the first.
Not this occasion though.
Season effectively over. Focus must now be on CL qualifying rounds.
