    I left immediately after the game tonight as I had a call telling me a good friend had a life threatening heart attack this afternoon.

     

    Thanks to the skill of the medical staff and a couple,of procedures he is recovering.

     

    He is a big Celtic man and was ecstatic when I showed him the goals.

     

    Please offer a prayer or think positive thoughts for a full recovery.

    Agreed bud. I realise it’s the CL and full of quality opposition but we seem to attract the richest of the rich when we get pulled out the hat.

     

    A pot 3 seeding definitely offers us a chance to gather some extra points.

     

    Regardless, pot 3 or pot 4, I’ll be delighted just to confirm our place amongst the elite once again.

     

    Marvellous what’s happened since Brendan’s appointment. The man is amongst the worlds top managers. We are living through exciting times in Celtics history. Lap it up.

     

    498 passes last night. 86% completed . That type of possession football gives you a hugely increased opportunity to control the game.

     

    Ntcham is a big part of that possession football. Takes the ball and moves it around effectively. Him and Brown were vg I thought.

    I reckon we could bank on at least 18 points from that group.

    Got to head to Italy tomorrow on business for a few days and I’ve been thinking a lot recently how nice it will be to pack up work next year.

    Mate…I have watched Celtic hammer better teams in Europe over the years….we all have….but last night was very special….something is taking place under that man they call Brendan….something is growing under that man we call Brendan……now if we can only get rid of the feckin corruption ?

    To be fair Astanta looked very capable especially in the 1st half….but Celts saw it thru.

     

    Nir Bitton played very well, I think he’s gaining in confidence, which is helping his game.

     

     

    For me…The GRIFF was yet again feckin SUPERB !

     

     

    He used to be Hibee…..but he’s all right now.
