Some of the empty seats on Saturday would likely usually be filled by guys who were already in Germany

Hope everything is ok with you after the storm, I had the pleasure of playing 9 holes with the aid of a buggy at Slievenamon last year lovely part of the world not far from you if I’m correct.

They’ve obviously heard of the atmosphere at Celtic Park on a European night and want to witness it for themselves, but there are going to be a lot of disappointmed Bayern fans. HH

  3. Were Sevco the only team not to have the show racism the red card logo on their strips this weekend in the Premiership?

Not sure that mob understand the term racism but if they did it wouldn’t sit well with their white supremacist attitude (long may their ignorance last, it has always been their downfall along with not paying their majesty’s taxes) anyway fellow Celtic fans work the morra so good night n God bless, am sure the Celtic fans that are Bavarian bound & ones already there will have a great time, as long as PSG pump Anderlecht anything for us on Wednesday is a bonus …. roll on Munich

  5. Safe travels to all the Bhoys heading to Bayern for the Munchen game in the next couple of days.

Keep an eye out for the world-famous “Hootenanny” fleg, which I’m reliably informed will be on display in various beergardens this week. :-)

  7. Evening all , my season book gets left behind the bar when its my monthly Saturday on , and on Friday my best mate mentioned that the Kiwi ( recently employed barman) would be heading up early with the usual suspects for a session then the game .

Turns out some missed the game but the Kiwi insisted on leaving the boozer and going into paradise even though it was nearly half time to witness why most of the customers in his new job were Celtic daft .

Today he recounted a great day when he received a text from someone he met in the Turnstile yesterday , asking him if he still wanted to witness a European night at Celtic Park .

The Kiwi now has been promised 2 tickets for the Bayern game ! Think we have a new recruit to the ranks . He loved it . HH

  8. Had a longish, interesting day yesterday,

First up I was heading over to Glasgow Airport about 5.30am for a drop-off and passed Ayebrokes as I came off Dumbreck Road. I glanced over at their midden and, compared to what passers-by see going along London Road, their stadium and surrounding area is dark, depressing and devoid of any attraction at all. A genuine dump of an area.

Post lunch time and my mate and I leave a bit early for the game as he has some birthday money to spend in the Celtic Superstore. Can we just drive out of East Kilbride? Can we feck, we get stopped in the Westwood area for ……………………………………….. an ORANGE WALK!!!!! What is it with these people, it’s October! The only good part was the look on the faces of the numpties as they passed our car and saw the green tops and scarves. It’s a wonder the marching polis didn’t have a word with us for upsetting them,

  9. That is indeed very sad news Jim, there was also a bit of a splurge on a Publication over here last week, showing Brendan’s brother dressed in white shirt & black beret carrying the coffin of a well known Republican dissident, The accompanying article said the brothers were not talking to each other over a dispute involving a 10 million Property Portfolio.

Only after reading article you discovered the Funeral took place in November 2015 but why publish it now.

  10. Cosy Corner Bhoy on

I left the game early yesterday because it now takes me ten minutes longer to get back to the car because the old legs ain’t what they used to be!Number2 daughter and her pal stayed to the end as always…

I know about differences of opinion, but, outright criticism of Celtic players always gets under my skin (see my post from the Bhodran in Benidorm at halftime in Anderlecht game.

BTW, I thought Ntcham was great!!! but then I had him at 16s for the first goal so a bit biased:) :).

  11. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

Emerald Bee, I was on my way to the Pollok Clydebank game at Newlandsfield last Saurday.

We were held up , just off Kilmarnock Road as the tufty club were out marching for whatever reason.

They seem to march whenever they want now.

More than happy to play a role in CQNmania, where everyone else goes through an elimination process to meet me in the final I picked Celtic, after two strikes, this weekend.

It embarrasses me to makes the posts I’ve done in this period as I’ve emailed picks and payments per the rules.

Talking about Celtic, I liked Dorus de Vries’ gift of his gloves to the ballbhoy behind our goal 2nd half.

I think Christian Gamboa has developed a spring jump to clear any ball in the air in his area, to counter a vulnerability the coaching staff identified last season

    Good Evening Guyfawkesaforeverhero

Absolutely not. This was a mistake by me, where I missed the buybacks from the previous round. We receive over 100-150 emails each week of the comp and sometimes we just muck up.

Please accept my apologies. No offence intended and I am sure I can speak for Jobo, that we appreciate your and indeed everybody’s support in the competition which has raised so much for good causes.

Good luck in the rest of the competition.

Red storm alert for the whole of Ireland tomorrow.

Red = risk to life and property.

    Full blown hurricane

All school, colleges and child care facilities closed and unnecessary journeys discouraged.

Therefore I can’t see any flights or sailings taking place.

  17. GuyFawkesaforeverhero,

I think Cristian Gamboa is a fantastic player, fast as lightning so he is.

    Costa Rican Bad Bhoy ;)

He is wee, it shouldn’t make a difference but I think it does in his case.

As Tony starts to play more he is likely to feature less as well. I can understand his frustration.

Wholehearted player so he is. Thats a Celt in a nutshell.

  18. In the 2nd half the Support just upped it, well not too long before the goal. ;))

    And then it happened.

There is such an amazing Belief in This Celtic team, and no wonder.

  19. James Forrest will start ahead of wee (well deserved MOTM) Paddy.

If Brendan could, he would get both on, He can’t and he won’t.

Hoping Jozo can make it, Dedryck was very good on Saturday. Jozo is just out of this World IMO as a defender. He is so switched on to Anything and Everything.

God Bless all the Celts going to Munich. Bring back a point at least.

I understand your take on it. I don’t agree that Tony R is ready to displace two current international players whose teams have advanced further than Scotland. I wish him well. Just worry he’s worked so hard on his upper body, his knees will collapse. Seen him a lot in development team. Great fun to enjoy his commitment.

I understand you’ve moved from Lions Stand to Celtic end. I’m in 143, under the mantelpiece Janefield corner. There will be loads of goals to enjoy at our end this season. Same as every season.

  21. GuyFawkesaforeverhero,

Sitting with a very knowlegable dude. Praise the Lord.

He Loves Celtic even more than me. :)))

The whole Celtic Support now knows when to up it.

I asked 17year old Aidan if he wanted to go for 1 pint.

    He said naw.

    Tontine Tim: Yes sir!

*that was a tough one had to rack my mind there, at first I thought Ian and Bobby Young but then remembered that latter never played for the Buddies but the other Saints where we acquired him in a deal involving Bobby Craig.

Pat Hughes never really made a career in the game unlike his two brothers the Bear and Billy. The latter was a really good player helping Sunderland to a shock FA Cup win over Leeds. There was a wee bit of a clamour tae bring him tae Parkheid but that might have been a bridge to far to cross as Yogi was such a controversial player and his boots might have been too hard to fill.

My 17 year old, Sean, is similarly strong-minded.

His 36 year old brother, Paul, was here for three weeks from Auckland until Thursday. Sean is already older than Paul. Think it’s a 21st century thing.

    Celtic forever.
