Amongst his many fine qualities Hoops also apparently possesses some of the attributes of the sub atomic particle, that is the ability to be in 2 different places simultaneously.

    What a talented individual!

  2. Green latern

It’s called the ability to bi-locate. I saw it firsthand in an episode of dr. Who. (Or was it scooby doo)

There seems no end to the posssibilities of Hooper’s quantum talents.

For example he could cross the ball from the wing to himself waiting in the box and score before his presence would even be registered by the opposition, or would that infringe the offside rules?

£5 million for such a talent? Pah! £50 million wouldn’t be enough.

Offer to Hooper in October still on table.

2nd offer from Norwich rejected “not as much as £6m”

  7. id say celtic have played the hooper transfer saga about right….knocking back 2 offers lets the likes of norwich know they wont get him cheap!…well done celtic

  8. Nothing more cringe worthy than a caller with a preconceived opening “funny” speil that dies on its arse

Neil Lennon also confirms to @bbcsportsound that Hooper has indeed turned down contract offer. #BBCSport

  10. that lennon press conference phone clip being played again…great to hear the humour and it struck me that alot of supports of a football club from govan will not be enjoying ‘neil lennon’ having such an easy enjoyable time with the press….’cheeky chappy lennon’ taking the ‘mcoist ‘ limelight?

    Any word on FF condition?

    Are Lustig and Matthews rotating?

  12. I know you cant always believe the media but, if as reported Hooperman does not want to sign an a new contract then I say, let him go. If he does not want to play for Celtic, can you imagine that, then let him go to the mediocrity that is Norwich. He wont be giving his all for us, so why bother with that. I want someone who is committed to the Celtic cause, no if’s, no but’s. Tony Watt is the man to replace him, so goodbye Garry and thanks and good luck!

    Hail Hail

lazyd. I thought that as well. I wouldn’t put it past Chuckles and Sally to come up with a zany madcap blooper in order to regain the loveable cheeky chappie status of the portly one.

You know like those “accidental” mishaps on ” You’ve Been Framed”.

  14. Hooper 11/2 to score in both halves, vic 25’s to do the same……

Me, I like Celtic -1 goal at 11/10, with a side investment of over 11 corners.

Bit concerned commons not playing though, would have made me that much more confident.

Evens villa to qualify and 10/11 villa -1 goal also with a look.

I honestly dont care if Garry Hooper or any other player leaves – good luck to them, I say.

Only players leaving are ones who will bring BIG ££££££££££ to the club. They can only leave on Celtic’s terms.

I’ve said it before but Celtic have a system that is way bigger than any player…

I only care about being best in Scotland – that is assured for many, many years – so for me its all about winning SPL, enjoying Europe and creating the solid financial foundations that ensures Sevco can only ever hope for 2nd place should they ever make it to the top level of Scottish football..

So all the guys who earn a jump to a better level and leave £millions behind in transfer fees – I say ‘Thank you and best of luck…!’

Filled on my online season ticket questionnaire earlier – now at celtic park I will be expecting some high-heed-yin along any minute to escort me to my new super-dooper upgrade seat for nothing

i agree with the above that hooper should be allowed to leave if he dont want to play for the club but what im getting is that the club aint offering him wages on a par with top earners.

    why not?
