  1. 40 years old now. but you never tire of seeing the bhoys lift a trophy.

well done ronny. here’s to many, many more.

  2. What was James Forrest thinking about?

He’s supposed to be a winger but no…

The selfish wee toad went glory hunting in the middle and squeezed home a fluky shot.

Then, instead of beating his man on the outside, like he’s supposed to he took the lazy route inside and was lucky the ref bought his dive.

You think I’m being too harsh?

Well, these were clear faults in his game this past month

Today these same faults brought a goal and a pen award

Maybe they are not the faults we imagined them to be

Thank god James missed the pen or he could lose his scapegoat status

  3. praecepta,

Just a poster that likes to push his politics on here, funnily enough, when he posts about Celtic, he’s worth reading.

I tend to bypas the politics on here, HH

  4. Great day , starting off in the Montford with my daughter , then the game itself , then onto the international bar .

Meeting Sipsini , his mucker Joe. , Dan , then to top it off Sipsini’s lovely daughter and son ….:-):-)

    Well fek that ronny fella

That’s me one step nearer to running around Georges square au naturel.

    Bring it on

During the game and seeing the adverts around the ground for the Northern Ireland international I must admit it crossed my mind that it would be an ideal opportunity for Broony to take retribution on Paton without it affecting our season!

  7. for sure a penalty, shoulder to shoulder you have to be level with the player.

sorry but brown was a bit behind.

Not long back from Embra droping off the grandson.

Firstly, ecstatic for Ronny and the Bhoys.mgreat win. Very, very well done. COYBIG!

Thought Anthony Stokes, Nir Bitton and Izzy were superb. Love Broony and laughed my head off at Adam Matthews takingbthe Mick out of the smsm. Great to see John Collins and Stefan Js manhug.nshows how much the management appreciate the work Stefan does.

    Random thoughts:

Jackie McNamara will always be a Celtic mhan.

Ryan McGowan comes from a Celtic daft Coatbridge family. His Da, Jamie will give him a kick in the jacksie to remind him of that.

Great to see Kris and Jamsie scoring. JF is a great player. He will return to form like Izzy and Adam in the course of time.

Would love to see Michael Lustig back. Great player who gets Celtic.

Hamilton Tim, so sorry your game was spoiled by those plonkers behind you. Millions of Tims around the world would give so much to see Celtic playing and these idiots turn up and abuse our players.

Can’t think of anything else – I’m watching Man Utd destroying Spurs at the moment – but I’m happy, happy, happy.

Oh, and let’s cut John Guidetti some slack.

Did you hear the “ferret – faced fecker” having to retract two of his opinions today :-)) thought BBJ and Kevin Gallacher were brilliant and zmichael Stewart was very good as a summariser.

    Oh,mand one last thing …………….

Tom McLaughlin ………. post of the day.nhope you and your dad enjoyed the game.myou did the right thing giving your ticket to your wee brother. So many brownie points. Well done.

    Phew!

    Hail! Hail!

  10. First time listening to Hozier on RTE2.

Other Voices though is a excellent programme.

When Amy Winehouse was going through a bad period inner life, she was able to travel to Dingle in County Kerry and play a great show in an old restored Church.

You don’t get any of that old sycophancy in the old country.

    Canny sleep…..

At halftime today BBC showed the Broony shoulder charge about 8 times, what about the tackle on Stokesy where the Utd guy takes him out in the box, Anto puts the ball in the air, not even a mention about it being a foul, if you were at the game watch it again a total joke but not a peep from the commentators…..maybe it’s just my paranoia, maybe that’s how I can’t sleep

  12. bournesouprecipe on

Did the BBC blank the Leigh Griffiths penalty and was it just us at the match that seen it?

  13. TheOriginalSadiesBhoy on

Sorry for the typos. Can be attributed to fat fingers and the intake of alcohol ……….. Sonce my return from Embra. I bloody love Celtic :-))

  14. SFTB Your support of JF has been admiralable. I would punt him at the earliest opportunity. Not Celtic class.

Will tell you what my sister thinks about Jackie when I next meet you. My nephew who plays for him has similar views.

  18. world peace is none of your business on

think celtic have got the measure of united now, cant see it being close on weds.can we have a designated penalty taker, none of this I WON THE PENALTY SO I GET TO TAKE IT.good to see a lot of young managers involved in the game being intervied on sportscene, unlike the premier league in glorious england where its a revolving door of management, you just know if big sam, tony pullis, mark hughes get punted there will always be a club looking for a manager

  19. And so to today.

    Absolutely brilliant to win anything.

    Well done, Ronnie and broony.

Highlight of the day, wee jays hero status at the front of the south stand, the bhoy is a phenomenon.

John Kennedy’s lecture on the touchline to broony, manager in training.

  22. Gordon – was good to see you on the way to Hampden today. My dad passes on his regards to you and VP. HAIL HAIL

  23. WITS – what’s the betting on how many pimples you have on your left cheek during this run round George’s Square?

Is there an over / under lol

  24. TheOriginalSadiesBhoy on

One of the points not made by anyone on the telly about the Dundee Utd penalty claim was that the United player was the first to make contact with Broonie. He put his arm across Broonie’s chest. In my opinion that turned it into a physical contest between the two. A battle of strength which Broonie won hands down. Maybe that’s how the officials also interpreted it.

  25. CRC

Quite right. It was a rotten pen and that will be my abiding memory of this game too

Just like I remember the10 men won the league game as that match when John Doyle let us down and the CL game against Man U is recalled as that time wee Shaun gave away a pen

Well, once you start thinking negative, its hard to enjoy anything :-)

You’re gonna need a bigger gazebo for the wedding mhate!

    Good win. Good performance.

Stokes efforts and skills were first class.

Great to see bitton getting the ovation he deserved and responding in kind. The team celebrated as a unit apart from big guedetti who stood alone with his Sweden flag.

Fair play to the United support who I was right next to. They were faithful through and through to their team today.

So step 1 towards the unveiling of wits bits around george square!
