A day in paradise……..brilliant……after the game was over walked round to see the Celtic Way and the tributes to wee Oscar…..there was big Amido on his lonesome outside the main entrance singing autos and posing for photos with the kids…..poor guy in a way seemed kinda lost, only thing missing was his suitcase…..kept thinking back to the Sammi situation,,will the likes of stokes or lee do the business in the CL….never never never……Suddenly a figure bolts out the swinging doors and there he is wee Scott Mcdonald…..posing as a wee man cut short…..the same wee man who stood mighty tall roughly 10 years to the day to score 2 late goals thus depriving his boyhood heroes….whilst 40 miles away Hibernian fc lay down to a team of cheats.
Not too happy about this Sammi stuff re him saying he was not offered a deal. It’s giving a lot of agent oranges and board haters a wee bite at the doggie chew. Before any accusations of being a Sammie hater, I took a whole lot of stick from a crowd of season ticket holders in the area where I sit (WS2) for defending the big man when I heard them barracking Sammi for making a mistake. (Incidentally, he went on to score in that game and my protagonists got a right good GIRUY) I want him to stay. However, if Sammi wants to stay, surely his agent is the one to seek out a deal. PL is not the villain of the piece. First port of call for me would be Sammi or his agent.

Neil to leave us for a Championship side after all he’s been through at this stage of his career. Making amends in the champions league next season (which he talked about today) despite Tanner bringing it up every two minutes.
I’ll eat my hat if he goes this summer. I seen nothing today that suggested he was for the off.
Just want to say how much I have enjoyed the effort of our players in the League this season. It truly was a magnificent achievement to get 99 points and 102 goals. I know our Cup and Euro performances were weak but today is about celebrating a league.
Big thanks to Bob, Gordon, Mike and my brother, Danny, who helped me out with tickets for games this year.
I picked a bad week to go on a course of antibiotics and have to avoid the drink. The Champagne in the Fridge will just have to wait.
Enjoy the achievement CQN Celts! All the rest of the issues can be put on hold for a day, at least.
P.S. I know there are a couple of decent youngsters in the Dundee United team, however, John Hughes & Terry Butcher’s collection of cast-offs from English non-league and Div.2 finished one point behind United in the league, and Stuart McCall’s equally impoverished team finished 12 points ahead of them.
PS Forgot to thank Cowiebhoy and Hamilton Tim who got me tickets too.
Sorry lads.

Big sammi was sure as hell frustrating at times in a Celtic shirt and many of us including myself thought its best he moves on.
Now that he has I’m genuinely gutted! Big guy loved Celtic and was a class act on and off the pitch. We will miss him in Europe that’s for sure.
Just hope that money Celtic didn’t want to pay him is earmarked for Snodgrass and no more stupid projects from abroad.

Not long in from game via a post-match birthday lunch for my Daughter. Like the Team was first half – I am slightly flagging (after yesterday’s Hootenanny). Thought we upped it second half and got the result to round off an excellent 2014 League Campaign.
A nice tribute to Wee Oscar and a very professional Trophy presentation (with BBJ and Stan) – it was good to see a big crowd enjoying a colourful and noisy spectacle.
Titles don’t always come easy – today was the 26th in my lifetime – some may have been more dramatic, important and enjoyable but there is always a great sense of pride when you witness your Team Captain raise that League Trophy. Well done to the Team and Management.
Sad to see Sammi bow out today. An enigma in many ways – technically gifted – maybe a flawed genius but without doubt a good servant and a credit to the Club. He got the CFC ‘bug’ – I hope he retains it and looks back on his time here with fond memories.
Good Luck Sammi – I will miss you!
