Some very hard to please Boys on here we are improving under Ronny that was an expensively put together team who are paying out big money in wages and as far as I am concerned Celtic more than held there own last season we wouldnt have got a draw with a team of that calibre.The fact that we are disappointed not to have won shows that we have improved.The next two games against Molde are crucial if we can hold our own we still in my opinion stand a good chance of qualifying from the group. Thought the bhoys played well tonight up against a lot better players than we have.
Big Efe was good apart from the back header and should have done better with the second.
Broony motm for me miles ahead of everybody else in a celtic jersey.
Bitton and Johansen were never at the races. Forrest getting better and better that will be PL bonus sorted out . Young Tierney is very promising.

Are we seeing progress? Apart from Malmö away then we absolutely are.
We are passing more and scoring more. Yes, we have lost goals but many are from corners and I see that as more easily fixed than poor technique and surrendering possession easily.

I would have taken 2-2 before the game started, obviously disappointed after being 2-0 up.
To be honest when they scored their second I feared the worst but we showed grit to come back and get back into it.
As for Effe, I thought he played well but has to stop the mistakes… I’e don’t header a ball with the tap off your heid.
Broonie was my motm by a mile.
One a side note… I can rip the pish out a lot of huns tomorrow as I know some put their whack on it :))

One way of looking at it is – we are unlikely to win this tournament so why park the bus and try and scrape a goal as we have done in the past?
Why not try and pass, even in tight situations, take chances etc?
I’d think that’s how you get young players to improve and gain confidence.

So 4 points from Molde and a right good crack at Ajax who defend like us, shite and we go to Turkey to buy some trinkets at the casbah with nothing at stake.
That’s my look at it anyway, Ajax and Fenerbace will share 14 goals in two draws from what I saw of their respective defences.

I said earlier this afternoon that the game could go either way – wee could be brilliant or we could get pumped as we are weak at the back.
It went both ways – we were great for much of the game but weak at the back also.
The business model means that changing the manager is pointless .
Ronnie has great philosophy going forward but no nouse for defending. He is also compliant with the selling/ downsizing agenda.

I thought we were decent for large parts of the game tonight …..maybe I’m just managing my own expectations
Frankly after DDs comments yesterday I’m scunnered …..
We made a team of past superstars look very average tonight & at 2-0 they looked a beaten team.
The substitution they made by bringing on a big striker was made through injury, not by design & it’s changed the game. No matter who plays CB we struggle against big number 9’s (See Malmo minus Efe). Ambrose made a big mistake & could have done better for the second but to be punished so severely both times shows no luck.
Thought some of our attacking play was brilliant just lacked a bit of power up top but Forrest, Brown, Bitton, Tierney & Lustig all top performers. Should have been 3 points & disappointed but proud of all our Bhoys tonight including Efe, as he defended like a Lion both before & after his mistake.
Overall it was a game of football. HH!
If Celtic would have signed van Persie as the experienced big name pro on big wages there would have been a riot here tonight.
My Fenerbahce friend thinks they done ok for a team hit by injuries and new signings.

Maybe it is Dermot Desmond that is signing the players, after all ronny did say he was inspirational and knew so much about football.
Nonetheless whatever constraints Ronny works under in terms of what players come on, he is in sole control of picking the team, managing in game substitutions (cf inaction and izzy red card in Amsterdam, commons coming on for kayal at half time at home to Maribor), in-game formation and tactics to deal with defensive set pieces from which we have coughed up 5 goals in our last 4 European matches.
Can’t keep making the same mistakes, simple as that. Has any other team coughed up winning positions seven times in Europe in the last 14 months?
