    “The ball on the ground”

     

     

    Low hard crosses as I read in Bobby lennoxs’s book, is the most awkward ball to clear from defence, from the horses mouth (as I asked him) :) he latched on to plenty of them.

     

     

    The high floating balls frustrates me, especially as we have no target man…yet!

     

     

    It’s good to see effe getting his confidence back.

     

     

    Catch a beer with you soon mate, got ACGR on my case to meet up in spain next week, he’s a wee bandit ;) HH

    You are right about the need and difficulty in achieving meaningful change.

     

     

    However, keep an eye on the referendum in Catalonia. Spain is saying that Barca would be out on their arse. European football won’t let that happen. Their ultimate position in La Liga will be a foot in the door for cross border competition.

    We have no SPL competition and are devoid of any quality players. So Celtic just have to sign quality players and that will be less competitive games, because Celtic don’t have any competition presently. That’s why I am against drugs.

    Isee a Basel mate every week, he laughed at loud at my suggestion the UEFA would do anything to address the situation. Also poured cold water on my idea for clubs like ours, he reckons the Euro League is exactly that.

     

     

    Heartbreaking to watch the game morph into some Major League Football US Sponsored Behemoth.

    It is not technically a referendum, certainly not in the Scottish sense, though it has been described as a ‘de facto’ one. It is a regional election, Catalonia, in which the two main pro Independence parties hope to gain a majority in the Assembly, at least 68 of 135 seats, which they believe will lead to a referendum down the road. The pro Independence parties believe that the Assembly can then organise a referendum, which if it votes for Independence, will allow Catalonia to declare itself Independent of Spain. Needless to say Spain sees it differently. An important election it has to be said.

    We didn’t renew our books basically because we think Ronny is arrogant in his stance

     

    To change (tactics) setup , pisses me off at times when your watching the game and you can see

     

    A player is having a mare and he just persists with his plan , so basically I’m just a glory hunter now , pick and choose when to go . At the end of the day ( huvnae a clue ) some of the games last year we struggled until the opposition had a man sent off then we capitalised , anyhoo I’m struggling with the fact nobody made more fo your first visit to the coarnir !!!

    Come back to the Corner at the next home league game, bring a fiver and ask for me, I’ll sell you a badges, then you’ll be in all of the various cliques and gangs.

     

     

    There really are no cliques of course, just disparate groups of friends from all walks of life, having a laugh and talking all things Celtic, most are quite knowledgeable, I don’t include CowieBhoy in that group of course. He has not the first clue.

     

     

    MarsPapa, stop it, you’ll have the Peelers videoing us at the corner:-)

     

     

    We played well yesterday, the only thing I found disappointing was the fact we didn’t vary our tactics, and we didn’t scope of course, on another day we would have scored a few.
