  1. The fans who were at the game would know more than me but I think in the last few weeks James Forrest has been pretty good, Neil loved him as a player and I think Ronny does as well, a lot of people forget how many medals, Scotland caps and Euro experience the bhoy has….. If he gets wee injury free run he will frighten defenders in the Spl and Europa, no defenders like fast wee Bamako running at them

  5. Jerome – it may well be but its also the impression he left on other residents of 143.

He was fouled with impunity several times at the byline in the second half with that I agree but it was at the touchline.

I thought overall we played ok yesterday and can’t fault the effort. Hearts were resolute as was the ref.

  6. Sipsini

When are you and the weans coming over for a wee night of indulgence , bevy , tunes and reminiscence ?

Your lass can be the DJ , I still have flashbacks , trying to get ger57 out your brothers house when she cranked up the tunes , anyway Acgr is definitely a “bandit” if your sharing a room , sleep on your back , he’s got previous , haha ,.

    Btw Acgr your well fella:))

At my stage in life, if I started drinking at 10am before an 8.45pm kick-off I would be deported to Glasgow by 6, despite living in Oslo.

  8. Lennybhoy….

That was a true story last night about the Coatbrig Princess, only reason I have the iPad just now she has been at Ayr with my niece & her man today, had to put sun tan lotion on her before she left, unbelievable sun tan lotion at September weekend !

  9. By the way nothing would make me happier than to see JF become the player we can’t afford to keep. I just feel he makes the wrong choice too often.

Its so easy to see the best move from your seat though.

  10. Gerryfaethebrig

I’ve been impressed with Forrest so far this year. I was often critical of what I thought was a poor attitude and his lack of belief and courage to run at players regularly. I think Kilmarnock away was a turning point for him and since then he’s done much more to try and commit defenders.

That must be the flight me and my mates are on. Staying the night before at Oslo and also arrive in molde at 9.30sh. Never to early to drink :-))

Brought a smile to my face when I got your text as I waited in the Mayo Suite for our Guest of honour at his surprise 60th Birthday celebration.

I will give you a true story from last night. During the evening our Guest of honour brought over one of his work Colleagues, long time lurker and when he heard that Lennybhoy was there, he got the Guest of honour to introduce him…true story.

Wee James has definitely got something, I think the stick he takes is a bit over the top but again sometimes (in the past) he was too busy flinging his arms in the air before he hit the ground, I am prepared to have WGS, Lenny & Ronny’s opinion before one and they all seem to think the wee man has it, I read most comments about the game but prefer to try and separate the wheat from the shaft and most good Celtic fans think he played well, we should point it out to Clancy & co every time the wee man is kicked sometimes I think the team just accept it and get on with it, highlight the cheating/mistakes

I still think we are on the right road ….. Beat Fenerbache on Thursday then the chances we are missing will start going in

  15. Bit sad to hear that the CQN corner was not welcoming. I wandered over yesterday and saw a few groups of mainly middle aged men with dour expressions? I am delighted to hear that there was some earnest fundraising going on and would have joined in and donated. Anyone have a link to a donations page?

I am not an “in your face type” so am not pissed of about not feeling that there was a welcome in the air. However have considered the 10/10 gathering but now feel that it may be a closed shop. Won’t stop me posting pish on here through.

  16. If you started drinking at 10am in Oslo, you would have to take out an extra Mortgage on your gaffe by mid afternoon.

  17. Lennybhoy 8.25pm

I would be the first person to believe that……considering my cousins questioned how I knew you at MY wedding !

I still think Cqn is minuscule in the grand scheme of all things Celtic but it’s easiest the best Celtic blog around……

  18. JMCCORMICK on 27TH SEPTEMBER 2015 8:27 PM

I can assure you that the gathering on 10/10 is not a closed Shop, get yourself along, you’ll have a great day.

  20. Watching the Molde game.

They are 1-0 down away to Stabeak. (Sp)

Chucking the kitchen sink at the other team but can’t break them down.

    Their centre forward is shite.

Overall tidy and precise team nut nothing to impressive.

I’ve got 20 quid on them at 9/1, so sticking with it :-)

6 corners to 0 in the second half. Every one poorly executed.

  21. Thursday is a Real game for Us…..I had my doubts about Ronny at the start, Then i Loved him from our win at Aberdeen last Year, Now im back to Doubting Him…..I really Do hope im wrong but im back to Trust your first Impressions….Really Do Hope im Wrong….Really..

  24. Jmccormick…..

I have never been to any of BMCWPs hootenays, I am as much as a stranger as your good self and the fact my family life means I am not attending Celtic park the “corner” means heehaw to me, there is no clique whether in person or emails or text, people on here get to know each other through mostly Celtic & charitable things so get yourself along on the 10/10, I want proof of these gym sessions are worth it !

  28. Captain Beefheart on

How does the Celtic budget compare to Maribor, Warsawa and Malmo?

How much do they pay for an average season book?

We pay good money. The good work, and there has been some, in the transfer market is undone by a baffling lack of ambition as well as an ability to sign absolute crap up front.

Send our scouts to a TUC gathering and they still wouldn’t find a striker. They would somehow manage to find a hapless Tory instead.

  29. Re James Forrest, I have to say I was not a fan. I fully get that WGS , Lenny and now Ronny all see him as a first pick so fiair enough.

Myy issue is tan the may well be aware of that and understand that fleeting moments of class will see him always in the starting eleven of at very worst the first change. I too thought that Killie this season was his best performance in two years. He needs to deliver another 10 of that type of performance to justify an extended deal. Just my opinion.
