  1. Well done Celtic … not sure if Lennon will keep the same formation or tactics but it was a win.

  2. lets all do the huddle on

    well played celtic

    well played neil

how long have i been saying on here that the christie brown mcgregor forrest midfield needed to get broken up

look what happens when it did

  3. Something to smile about tonight.

Let’s get Soro into that starting eleven and let’s see more of Turnbull.

We get that level of effort every game and we’ll give this league a good go.

  4. Enjoyed that. Well done Celtic.

Why is Soro not playing week in week out? Pacey, good tackler, passes the ball to feet. Against good quality opposition he really stood out. He must be rubbish in 5 a sides. Turnbull too. Quality performances and whether it was a personell change that made the team shape look better or the result of some work being done in it I don’t know, but my money is on a more naturally defensive minded midfielder with the requisite energy being a large part of the reason.

    Very good all round.

Hopefully the start of some confidence building.

  5. Excellent,

Soro the bull in China shop.

Ajer Paddy hendo and dukes of hazard all played well.

Come on Neil, this is yer team. Play them and let them. Bond, rest the big baws and see what happens.

Hollow victory my bahooky. In context it feels good.

    KLV

  6. lets not forget! Broony sets the standards in training – turnbull, soro and the kids see that and aspire to it!

  7. Yes! Brilliant win. Just what we need to boost morale. Soro, Turnbull were outstanding. Elyounoussi strong in the middle. I love young Henderson too. Get Liam back and play them both in midfield. Dig and creativity in abundance. Neil Lennon must keep these guys in the team in the build up to Ibrox. For the first time we had other guys who were willing to match the effort and will to win of Diego Laxalt.

    Well done Celtic.

  8. onenightinlisbon on

Christie can go in January. Turnbull put more dangerous balls in tonight than Christie has all season.

  9. prestonpans bhoys on

Now don’t blow it Lenny and go back to the players who are not performing for you on Sunday

  10. griff , johnson , forrest, Eduard , to add to that team – pity we don’t have a tall athletic defender to depend on

  11. lets all do the huddle on

just seen the table , 19 goals against there lies the problem

milan only scored 2 more goals than us but got 9 more points

    we scored in every game

and averaged over 1.5 goals per game

so yip, the problem is easy to see

though the whole team has to contribute in some way to not concede so its not just an issue with defenders and keepers

  12. Well done the bhoys let’s kick on from here.

Hazard, Soro and Turnbull have to start on Sunday.

    Drop Christie, Barkas and Brown.

What we have to remember that whilst it was a good win and bhoy did we need it Lille came at us and left space, every team in the spfl will sit in against us.

    D :)

  13. I really like laxalt but he just stopped running with the guy at the first. Also switched off when the guy should have scored third.

  14. lets all do the huddle on

Whose gonna be the first miserabilist to post “there’s nothing to be happy about “

think sutton beat everyone else to it!!!

  15. onenightinlisbon on

Sutton was pathetic. No credit at all really for that performance. Super swally was praising is mote.

  16. The Blogger Formerly Known As GM on

Turnbull will get it, but Ajer MoM me.

What a difference when you shore up a weak spot with someone who’s not even a right back.

  17. For a dead rubber that was quite important. Another loss or even a draw after being 2-1 up would have made Sunday all the tougher. Given we have no prospect of new management then we have no choice but to get behind the team and hope it works out.

Not what I would say passes as a strategy but it is all we have got.

Back the team, sack the board.
