I think it’s important NL not overthink selection for Sunday. He should start with the same team except for Henderson if Frimpong is not available.
Ajer at RB will do just fine and Klimala as striker is worth persevering with because of his energy. Hazard Turnbull and Soro for sure. Not sure to what extent the boys who played last night will have energy for a full game on Sunday but definitely start them and have substitutes ready if they tire.
I think this team sends a message to those players who have lacked motivation – their selection is at risk and with that perhaps a big move to another club. But still we need to see an improvement in coaching, especially tactics for dealing with packed defenses in Scotland and how to win the midfield against rangers. But let’s all hope NL doesn’t revert to type and start playing the old guard again. They are now substitutes.
NL will be gone after a successful or a failed 10IAR. We need to be looking for a long term replacement who understands the modern game and has excellent coaches and who is ambitious for Celtic in Europe.

Well done, what a difference with legs and energy.
Turnbull performance of the season, Soro, love how quickly he covers the ground and can play the ball forward after turnover, Brown plays it sideways and opposition teams say thanks for letting us get back into shape before attacking us.
However as good a performance as it was watching a re run with my dad Duffy still gives me palpitations and at times was all over the place. Moi culpable for second goal with poor defending, when marking someone inside the box hanging out for the second ball you have to be close enough to get a block in, fine finish from Weah but if Moi does a simple job he doesn’t score.
In the summer I kept highlighting that Klimala was not ready, 6 months later he is still not ready. I was told but he has bulked up Sid, that was the correct thing to do but bulking up is going to do nothing for your touch. Like a Coo. This needs constant work or he is no use to us. However, I’ve been saying for weeks that Klimala, Turnbull and Soro might not have the ability of Ntcham, Brown or Christie but they’ll bring an energy that’s been missing for weeks.
Tonight, however, they showed they have a fair amount of ability too. Might be too late now for the ten but we may have finally stumbled across a team fit to wear the jerseys again. Punt Duffy and bring in another centre-back in January (has the Benkovic ship sailed?) and we can have a right go…

However, both himself and the manager admitted earlier in the season that he needs to be used sparingly and it’s been baffling to see him play 90 minutes twice a week every week when his performances have suffered.
Hopefully, now Lennon knows he can trust Soro to come in and perform, Brown can be used in the way he should be – maybe rested and fresh for the big games or coming on late to shore up a victory.

I’d like to see him with Klimala. Let Klimala do the running, the donkey-work if you like, pulling defenders around, creating spaces to allow Eddie to do his thing in more space.
Griff doesn’t look like he has 90 minutes in him and should be maybe used as a sub when we need a goal as he’s great at that.
Ajeti? Will this guy ever be fully “fit”? Hate to say it but for £5m this doesn’t look like shred business. Failing to see why he’s any better than Bayo…

Don’t like seeing so many unhappy posters on here tonight.
Hopefully the following will bring some pleasure to some.
Hazard – hesitant at cross in second half – WORRYING
Frimpong – Feeble. Couldn’t last the pace – UNRELIABLE
Laxalt – played a guy on side – SEND HIM BACK
Jullien – gave away stupid free kick in first half – CARELESS
Duffy – Bad at first goal – SHAKY
Amer – lost a throw in – TOO COCKY
Soro – missed a tackle – OVERRATED
McGregor – at fault for first goal – GOING DOWNHILL
Turnbull – bad attempted through ball to Klimala in first half – INEXPERIENCED
Elyanoussi – lost possession often – SELFISH
Klimala – silly booking – RASH
Henderson – second half short cross into box to no one – POORLY COACHED
Ajeti – didn’t score – WASTE OF MONEY
Rogic – made no impression – INEFFECTIVE
Welsh – took too long to get on the pitch – NAIVE
Griffiths – laughing when warming up with Brown – UNPROFESSIONAL
Brown – not laughing when warming up with Griffiths – TAKES HIMSELF TOO SERIOUSLY
Kennedy – didn’t look at Neil Lennon (rumours emerging tonight too that he walks on the cracks on the pavement ) – DISSATISFIED
Strachan – needlessly distracted Neil and John for 12 seconds with the stats on the iPad – PEDANTIC & UNPRODUCTIVE
“LENNON !!!!!” – nil points – JUST COS

Agreed. I mentioned last night that people have claimed Eddie gets crowded out and as he’s not exactly “all-action” this can impact performances.
