Nice words by Timothy Weah. Not wanting to over celebrate his goal but very happy to have scored. I wish this boy well in his career.

OMG — we are rough.
However quite a few tried tonight and it made a huge difference.
CMcG needs dropped — really poor and the efforts of others showed him up.
We are a sham of a team and that needs to change.
NL is not the present or the future — I hope he gets a dignified exit.
But he is turning a useful squad into a group of headless chickens.
DT — not sure if he will end up being a good player in an excellent team or a great player in a good team.
However there is quality to be mined there.
IS — shows the improvement when we play an active player in that position rather than traffic cone.
EH — needs support / direction / coaching.
As raw as sushi but other teams would / will make a player out of him.
GK — worth a few games as the alternatives are playing poorly.

Turnbull will get it, but Ajer MoM me.
What a difference when you shore up a weak spot with someone who’s not even a right back.
——-
Also playing Ajer on the left immediately limits him cos he’s sooooo right footed.

Delighted with that especially for the young guys who played so well against very good opponents.
It does however prove how wrong the manager has been getting it by sticking with the same failing players game after game. Not saying he should be swapping out 5/6 players but we should have been seeing much more of Soro, Turnbull & Henderson long before now.
lets all do the huddle on

In case you didnt notice , we won.

Well done Bhoys.
Tremendous game of football.
Not ifs, buts or maybes – just well done
No crying over spilt milk – just well done
No tears over goals conceded – just well done
No reference to other teams who are so magnificently coached, drilled, trained and organised
God bless Peter Lawwell keeping the green flag flying despite the malcontents begrudgers and naysayers …

McGregor cannot play defensive midfield he gets knocked out of the way and the bad pass when it caused a goal was due to being pressed and not being comfortable in that position, play him up Soro is a nailed on Centre midfielder if he is dropped our coaches and manager deserve all they get.

He obviously respects the time he had with us.

Let’s hope the manager has the courage to stick with the players who delivered tonight.
That game was great to watch. A real tonic after what we’ve been enduring.
I agree with those who say Duffy shouldn’t play at the weekend. It’s not his fault. He’s an Alamo type defender and we’re a team who spend most of the game attacking. He shouldn’t have been signed. I hope he can recover from his spell at Celtic.

Would like to stay positive
BUT
What was John Kennedy’s reaction at end of game about ??
Totally blanked Lenny
Son in law tells me Twitter going mental on this subject
On a more positive note- I thought Duffy tired in last 15-29 mins
But again, what a fpditpfference having 2 natural Centre Halfs defending
With Ajer much much better in right side of defence
Not sure if this will be a catalyst but reminds me of WGS and Brown’s suspension. A coach forced to make changes against his better judgement.

Well done the players, tonight.
They performed well under a lot of pressure.
A joy to see.
An extra bonus was, we didn’t concede 3, which would have given us the joint worse ever goals conceeded, in the Europa League groups stages, out of 576.
On we go to Sunday, let’s hope the players confidence starts to increase.

God bless Peter Lawwell keeping the green flag flying despite the malcontents begrudgers and naysayers …

Well done all involved.
Surely some of our first team imposters will be warming the bench for a while.
Committed, better tempo and forward passing, it’s the football equivalent of garlic bread

I’ve been Mr angry recently and wondered why!!
A lot calmer tonight. And it’s only football. eh!
The bottom line is – it’s still in our own hands, as unlikely it seems.
We need to stay in there and who knows. Three glasgow derby wins and all that.

Delighted for the squad, Lenny his crew and our club.
Soro and Diego are ballers. Turnbull and Paddy gave their all too. Backline did their job well.
This was sheer grit and hunger.
Drap the primas and on to Sunday HH
Got to take the positives where we can, and we had a few, especially the players who got some game time.
Soro, Turnbull, Henderson, Hazard too. Brought a bit of energy to the team. Good result against a talented team.
Huns are cacking it.
what a difference when other first team squad players finally get a game , just a pity that the likes of kouassi etc didn’t .
One night, ‘down for months’.
Gutted, I’m sure😉
Lille were a good unit and posed a real threat. We stood up well, and triumphed.
Happy for the Bhoys and hopefully a wee turn in the right direction.
Laxalt is a bright football brain.
Turnbull, Soro and Henderson added some missing vitality to the team.
Duffy makes too many mistakes and McGregor needs to be played further up the park as he is very poor defensively.
Great result & performance tonight. Lots of lessons to be learned.
Not too late to turn it around CSC
I agree with geebee – Duffy didn’t earn his place for Sunday
Turnbull’s deliveries of corners and free kicks reminded me why we used to get excited when we were awarded them.
THESE players wete up for it.
Lenny was up for it.
Taxi for Brown, Ntcham and Christie.

We don’t need to hound anyone out in January- we are going to use a full squad when injuries and suspensions kick in
