If your team can beat a club challenging PSG for the title why would you change it 🤔

Beat Killie and it’s game on, when they drop points which they will and if we cut their lead by a couple of points, they will start to feel the pressure.
Tonight showed we have a few young promising players, the grinch in me says why haven’t we seen much of then up to this but look better late than never.
A few here were having a go at Laxalt after last game but he showed what he was about tonight,
Turnbull was absolutely brilliant but there were great performances all over the place, I think everyone played their part tonight.
Well done Lenny & the Bhoys,

if that was our B team tonight and with the exception of maybe 1or 2 then yes.

Turnbull was excellent, as were Soro and Laxalt, and Henderson looks the part. When Lille equalized both times I waited for the heids doon, panic stations to set in but they stood up and finally we’ve got a team that looked like a Celtic side.

I agree with those words tonight. I love football but have found it difficult to watch other games because I was falling out of love with Celtic. Tonight’s game was brilliant. This is the type of game and result that could give us a major boost.

At final whistle NFL goes to shake hands with Lille manager. John Kennedy behind him looked totally pissed off.
What’s up John?

Kennedy clearly at it and should be shown the door.
Lennon — tonight highlights what a failure he has been. Siri never given a chance and we see he can play.
If we sack Lennon the league is still doable.

Better Celtic, thank you for a spirited and positive performance. Green shoots of recovery I hope

Christie and Ntcham can get on phone in morn to their agents and get themselves a club for Jan.
Excellent performances from Soro and Turnbull – but still conceding cheap set piece goals
Overall a great improvement.

Another positive thing about squad players coming in and playing well is that it keeps the others on their toes. Lennon has said for weeks that he “can’t put his finger” on some of the poor performances.
Complacency maybe? Not complacent in terms of winning but in keeping your spot – knowing no matter how badly you play, you’ll be an automatic pick for the next game. This can lead players to become too comfortable.
Christie, Ntcham, Eddie, Brown should all know that they’re droppable. This might get a rise out of them too.
See for all my anger and frustration this last few weeks, I still really want this group of players and our manager to turn it around and sicken the sevco.
Part of me still believes we will.
The high they are on is not sustainable. The low we are on will not continue forever. If if if if if if we manage to accumulate maximum points and a cup between now and the trip to scumville we will have a chance to change the momentum.
I can dream.

Sunday’s joust against Kilmarnock promises to be the most interesting game for a long time. Which Celtic will we see? I fear we may have left it too late for the 10, but the very last thing we want to do is give up with a whimper. Let’s go.

Good point, The best thing about it is that there were so many good performances it is difficult to fit everyone deserving in to the lineup. That has to bode well.
Nice to have those problems I suppose.

So Lenny has only lost the 1st team dressing room! brilliant effort from the team , now mix and mingle and show faith in the them!
Only chance we have of winning the league is hanging in there until jan – no more dropped points – sign 2-3 1st team physical SPINE players and we could claw it back!

it is really annoying though – the team week after week after week has been lacking in midfield energy – the fans could see broony , ntcham and rogic just don’t have that in the tank – we bring in players with the legs and plenty skill and the difference is a joy.
Soro played like a 15m player – ok, slight over reaction as her needs to be consistent but I love how he bites and wins tackles , shows great balance and has an eye for a quick zipped FORWARD pass to feet!
Ajer in midfield is also a great shout – if we can find a defender or 2 behind him.

Soro and Turnbull can’t be dropped Sunday.
Experience tells us they will, for Christie and Brown.
Team sheet on Sunday will tell us a lot. Big call for Neil and a bit of bravery required.
Here’s hoping.

True. I’d also add if he’d trusted Turnbull and Soro full-stop, we might be a lot closer to Sevco and still be in the League Cup.

Leave, Brown, Christie and Rogic on the bench and put big Duffy beside them. Really feel for the big guy but it’s just not working for him
