    Well, that performance was as bipolar as the pages of CQN can be.

     

     

    As nervous as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs in the first half, then showing some spirit and purpose in the second half. Bipolar performance indeed….And some want the manager out now??? Aye that would be a solution eh?

     

     

    Ronny Delias has been in the job a matter of weeks….

     

     

    I will judge him once he has his built his own team, not while he is working with a team belonging/used to the previous boss Neil Lennon.

     

     

    Disappointing? Yes of course….

     

    But Ronny should be judged over time, once he has had the opportunity to make his mark and build his own team.

     

     

    Just as the SFA, SPL, PL and the PLC have had the chance to do…. before we judged them.

    Kayal was having a good game but got subbed. Johansen is a poor version of Scott Brown. Berget has absolutely no quality despite running all day.

     

     

    Season is already effin over and we will never get an easier chance to qualify for CL. Who knows when we will again.

    They are obviously much much much bigger fannies if they couldn’t get a game in this team. And Anto didn’t do too badly tonight given the paucity of the service he was given. Our best chance, when Callum hit the bar, was created by Anto. Stokes is not a lone forward – if you want to blame someone blame Ronnie for playing him up front alone at home.

    It is hard to listen to the critical voice of pundits like Andy Townsend, who I would normally despise, and realise that they are all talking sense.

     

     

    Celtic failed to be superior to Maribor tonight. Celtic failed to deserve a win or draw. The right team went through. Their 3 big players (Filipovic, Tavares and Ibraimi) turned up to play. Not one of ours excelled. We can excuse McGregor & Gordon and some others may get pass marks but that is not good enough at this level.

     

     

    I am not consoled by the Europa Cup as I want to be playing against the big teams. It may suit the coach to get more time to turn things round but it does not suit the club or the fans.

     

     

    CL qualification is always a risk for Scottish teams in the modern era. Understanding that failure was a possibility does not make it easier to take.

    Big wavy. The way forward is to be positive. It’s to give our manager every penny brought in to reinvest in the team

     

     

    Without being offensive. I have more chance of winning a Euro roll over than any Celtic manager has of getting every penny that comes in.
