  1. Some unmotivated players out there. IMO we should be playing reserves/youths in a game like this. They would have something to prove. Can’t understand why we risk injuries for … the League Cup.

Pretty dire stuff, lots of sideway passing. Morton sitting deep and well organised. No guile at all from us.

Efe best player on park, so far.

Rogic and Biton offering little, Pikku not getting any decent ammo.

All in all, it’s twelve quids worth! Hoping for better in the second half.

    Mr Brightside

  3. First half standouts have been Efe and Van Dyke.

Can’t see where the goals are coming from.

Distinct lack of shots at goal and crosses have been poor.

  4. Efe worth the admission money.Passing ourselves to death,no pace, and once again the delivery not great..Pukki does not look fit to me.Either that or he is so laid back he is nearlyhorizontal. No great appetite shown.Apart from Efe,VVD.Dreadful.

.Unhappy, as Georgie Porgie wiz..when the Bhoys came oot tae Play!

  9. It sounds like Celtic played the first half of the first half in the way they are perhaps planning to play next Tuesday. They let the opposition have plenty of possession and gave the opposition the opportunity to test the axis of steel, Virgil and Efe.

They then played the second half of the first half in the way that they expect their opponents to play next Tuesday… lots of possession and side to side passing, seeking the opportunity for the killer penetrating pass through a packed defence.

So, while it might frustratingly still be 0-0, the players have already attuned their cerebral synapses into the state that they will need to be in seven days from now!

  10. Hmmmmm…….

Can’t fault the manager’s lineup. Enough regulars. Plus guys who SHOULD be making a massive effort (Derk, Dylan, Rogic). None of them are doing much, I am afraid.

Biton is just trying to figure out how we play.

Very poor stuff, and particularly disappointing from the 3 mentioned above.

    Fair play to Morton, though.

  11. Buzz bomb makes it three. Or four?

We need some of his pace tonight.

    5-1 Celtic at HT

JIM CRAIG yes Cairney makes it 6

FANTASTIC goal from yogi to make it 7-1

The manager might wish to review his tactics rather than giving anyone the hair dryer treatment at h/t.

Bo Selecta and Dylan are being nullified by Morton doubling up on them. Our passing needs to be crisper!

    Ding ding round two.

  14. Listening to shortbread. The tannoy at CP drowning out comments from the other grounds. Best half time I’ve ever heard on BBC.

  15. Completely correct line up.

Guys tinkering on the verge of injury if they had any more minutes are rightly rested..

Pukki correctly given the opportunity of playing up front on his own, to see how he fayres..

Keep the central defensive duo for stability in anticipation the rest of the game will be played further up the park..

New boys given more game time – Boertegger in particular needs it, still looks like the new guy.

    However

    Time to get serious.

Put 3 up front and stretch that blanket defence to allow runners from midfield a wee bit of space pushing beyond them.
