Your post yesterday about CERN,I checked it out.

Wtf? Mad scientists, right enough. Thanks for that.

  2. Pedro Brown?

He said: ā€œThere were moments when we tried to do what we intended to do and in those moments I need to be happy. They were good moments and we had scoring chances.

ā€œWe got better on defensive set-pieces ā€“ we changed to zonal and it went well. On the offensive set-pieces we were OK but itā€™s not enough, we are Rangers, we have a culture of winning and getting the three points all the time. So we cannot be happy drawing the game.

ā€œWe need to reinforce the players the demands of playing at such a massive club who needs to win all the time and we need to be angry when we donā€™t do it.

ā€œWe should be angry that we didnā€™t and thatā€™s the frustration that we didnā€™t do it.ā€

Caixinha named a much-changed line-up from the side that were held by Motherwell at the weekend as Lee Wallace, Clint Hill and Lee Hodson missed out through injury.

after his shocker against Sevco last month, I think BR just wanted one look at Erik last night to see how he was . However, in a game situation if BR wanted to alter his back 4 and go 3 at the back then its clear that Sviatchenko will not be playing as his lack of pace is so obviously exposed, as the fat munchin Waghorn showed 4 weeks ago.. Me thinks, this combined with his interview in a Danish newspaper will see him been moved on in the summer. He’s now 4th choice on the list behind Boyata, Jozo and now Kolo

I struggled re the point of the story and in consequence followed the related links – that led to news items re Hindus / Indians breeding/ multiplying in Trumpland ( a consequence of lax immigration controls ! ) and once in the Land of the Free embarking on the colonisation of Hi Tech / Medicine / Engineering / !Dentistry and Catering. Seems that people in rust belt Michigan can’t get a job because Hindus / Indians are working as brain surgeons in Detroit / Denver /Dallas etc.

  6. League is won, objective now is to win Cup & try to plan forward to European Qualifiers.

If we win Cup & get through Europeans I’m not too bothered about the League results.

Having said that I want Celtic to win every game they play so whilst the league games are on I will be oohing & ahhing with the best of them but when the game is over it’s over and my focus returns to Cup & Europeans.

I totally trust Brendan, I expect Ebouie to be given an extended run to give him opportunity to establish himself in the squad, likewise Rogic to get him back to where he was.

With others, like Eric, Izzy etc, they could be playing for their Celtic future.

We have a big squad at Celtic Park, an entire team out on loan, some promising Academy Players & Brendan is on record as saying he wants to buy in 3 quality players.

It is inevitable that there will be 6 or 7 let go.

  7. Don’t think any of the referees more experienced colleagues would have given the penalty last night.

The fact Gamboa got the cross away and Sinclair missed his kick would have given them the opportunity to ignore it .

  8. Ajer did reasonably well last night but he did make one big mistake

Zombies launched a long hopeful ball in behind and Ajer was favorite to pick it up. He allowed the ball to bounce as he probably wanted to play out from the back. This allowed Waghorn to pick his pocket and get a good chance.

Luckily for Ajer, Waghorn is a terrible player and hit it straight into the goalies chest. If he made that mistake against somebody like Dembele it would be different.

An 876 year old prophecy claims Pope Francis is the final Pope who will reign during a time of great trouble and the destruction of Rome.

The prophecy appears to have credibility because the man who gave it also gave prophecies for every Pope from 1139 to today, a total of 112 Popes. Historians have found his words for previous Popes were accurate.

In 1139 this Irish monk, Malachy of Armagh, was summoned to Rome by Pope Innocent II. While in Rome Malachy experienced a divine vision of the future Popes.

Malachy not only predicted the number of Popes remaining before the end, but also accurately predicted who they would be by identifying unique facts about each one, such as their birthplaces, family names, personal arms, and their pre-papal titles.

Malachy wrote the following prophecy about the 112th Pope, which is Pope Francis. ā€œIn the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations, and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people. The End.ā€

The name has unique applications to Pope Francis as he took his name from Saint Francis of Assisi who was born with the name Giovanni di Pietro di Bernardone. The last part of his name literally means Peter the Roman.

Amazingly, Saint Francis of Assisi prophesied the last Pope ā€œby his cunning, will endeavor to draw many into error and deathā€¦ Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it under foot and deny itā€¦for in those days Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor, but a destroyerā€

St.Malachy was also credited with some miracles in his lifetime.

  17. Celtic started really brightly last night, moved the ball quickly and kept possession. However only 2 shots at goal first one came after 37minutes!

The substitutions completely changed our shape and the game, unfortunately. At the end, though Thistle deserved a point but no more. Upwards and onwards, there’s a treble still out there por cierto.

  18. Happy with last night.BR got most of what he wanted, apart from the win.I really liked Eboue .After his nervy first couple of minutes,he was excellent.Would hope he starts on Saturday. He has got the look of a “Pogba”about him.Erik well off form.Still not being convinced by Lustig. He just seems weak to me.His crossing is still woeful, never improved in his time with us.kilmarnock have a very good young left winger. Will see how he copes on saturday. We were missing orthodox strikers last night, allowed PT to bully our makeshift forwards, which they did very well.

Squeaky bum time for the Orcs.Aberdeen,Thistle up next. These teams must surely be thinking,”There is nothing to be scared off here”.

I see one of Celtic’s many nemeses in black Alan Muir passed up at least three chances to give the huns a penalty last night. Perhaps a fall out at the ludge, or maybe he sees the huns as a lost cause now, or it could be he is simply a rotten referee…???

  20. As for a price to get Popescu to Celtic Park, FC Steaua București chief Gigi Becali has claimed Popescu will be worth ā‚¬25m one day. And a current transfer has been priced at around ā‚¬10m for Celtic.

However, thatā€™s not really true. Becali himself has been quoted this week saying Popescu would cost ā‚¬3m. Romaniaā€™s DigiSport have him saying: ā€œI said that Iā€™ll let him go when itā€™s good and for the club and for him. If he goes now goes to the team that Iā€™m getting ā‚¬3m.ā€

  21. Game last night

    ___

If the Zombies lose at Pittodrie 2nd place would be gone. 15 points with 6 games to go?

Zombies haven’t won in their last 5 away from home and Aberdeen have only lost 1 game at home this season (1-0 to the champions)

They’ve only drawn 3 at home and they have won 11(7 in a row)

So the form book is totally against them. Even if they scrape a draw up there Aberdeen would be feeling comfortable with a 12 point lead heading into the last 6 games.

  25. I mostly enjoyed the game last night. Ebouie had a shaky start with a couple of misplaced passes but then I thought he came onto a game, simple crisp passing. We bossed the first half completely without really troubling their keeper. High balls to Roberts against a 6ft plus central defender don’t work.

I was puzzled by Emilio’s substitution, if we wanted more in midfield we should have taken off a centre back or switched Lustig to right back and taken off Gamboa.

We lost the goal almost immediately after that. Sviatchenko was poor to get skinned which cost us the goal which probably Gordon should have saved in all honesty.

Not too much urgency after that until the last few minutes and we were careless at the back at times.

Nevertheless the unbeaten run continues and we move onto Saturday where hopefully we have a fit centre forward to play!

I do not believe Peter Cashmachine will be here long term. If you listen to him he is not easy to follow. His English, certainly re football vocabulary, is poor. Now, imagine what it must be like on the training field (double sessions too :-0) …Manuel in reverse…

And another thing…he says, ” “We need to be reinforcing the players the demands of playing at such a massive club….” What are the players thinking when they read that? Most of them will know more about hun demands than he ever will…he’ll not be around long enough…
